A custom-built wine room addition with temperature controls in Westlake Village. Two sets of double glass doors showcase the floor-to-ceiling wine racks, which are made of natural Alder Wood with a clear finish. This brilliant room features lighted center display shelves and stacked storage for hundreds of bottles of wine. Oak wood floors from Villa Blanca are finished with Rustic Smoked Stain. The walls are painted gray with True White borders.

Built to hold over 2,000 bottles of wine, the wine cellar exudes sophistication with its polished wooden shelves. Warm, rich wood tones were chosen to lend an elevated hand to the space.
Regency Custom Homes
This elegant wine room was created by closing in an unused and awkward courtyard off of the existing dining room. The brick walls remained as they were. We closed in the roof and then clad the ceiling with actual wood remnants from reclaimed wine casks. Storefront glass keeps the wine room at the optimum temperature and allows viewing from the dining room to the 1200 bottle capacity space. The client’s preference for Cisco “wine” is beyond our control.

Remodel Edge
This custom wine room doubles as a game room. With 100 bottle wine storage, a decanting table with travertine stone counter tops, this wine room has it all.

No less than a return to the great manor home of yesteryear, this grand residence is steeped in elegance and luxury. Yet the tuxedo formality of the main façade and foyer gives way to astonishingly open and casually livable gathering areas surrounding the pools and embracing the rear yard on one of the region's most sought after streets. At over 18,000 finished square feet it is a mansion indeed, and yet while providing for exceptionally well appointed entertaining areas, it accommodates the owner's young family in a comfortable setting.
