This is a lovely, 2 story home in Littleton, Colorado. It backs up to the High Line Canal and has truly stunning mountain views. When our clients purchased the home it was stuck in a 1980's time warp and didn't quite function for the family of 5. They hired us to to assist with a complete remodel. We took out walls, moved windows, added built-ins and cabinetry and worked with the clients more rustic, transitional taste. Check back for photos of the clients kitchen renovation! Haven Design and Construction
The custom designed pivot door of this home's foyer is a showstopper. The 5' x 9' wood front door and sidelights blend seamlessly with the adjacent staircase. A round marble foyer table provides an entry focal point, while round ottomans beneath the table provide a convenient place the remove snowy boots before entering the rest of the home. The modern sleek staircase in this home serves as the common thread that connects the three separate floors. The architecturally significant staircase features "floating treads" and sleek glass and metal railing. Our team thoughtfully selected the staircase details and materials to seamlessly marry the modern exterior of the home with the interior. A striking multi-pendant chandelier is the eye-catching focal point of the stairwell on the main and upper levels of the home. The positions of each hand-blown glass pendant were carefully placed to cascade down the stairwell in a dramatic fashion. The elevator next to the staircase (not shown) provides ease in carrying groceries or laundry, as an alternative to using the stairs.

The entrance to every home is a great place to showcase your personal style. In this remodel, we decided to give the clients the opportunity to display personal items on a sleek transitional-style bookcase. The antique chair and small picture frame create an asymmetrical balance that highlights the length and grandeur of the entry hallway. A vintage runner adds warmth to the floor and ties in the colors used throughout the rest of the home.

This rustic entryway is the perfect mix of Western and glamorous decor. It features a mix of wooden wall paneling, exposed brick, and dark hardwood floors as well as a Native American painting as the focal point. These are contrasted with gold ornamentation and a vibrant red, lacquered antler chandelier.

Originally the roofline above this entrance was beneath one side of a vaulted ceiling. Adding the gable creates a nice sense of place when coming into the home, as does the trimmed opening that divides the foyer from the rest of the house.

In the capacious mudroom, the soft white walls are paired with slatted white oak, gray nanotech veneered lockers, and a white oak bench that blend together to create a space too beautiful to be called a mudroom. There is a secondary coat closet room allowing for plenty of storage for your 4-season needs.

This grand entryway was given a fresh coat of white paint, to modernize this classic farmhouse. The Moravian Star ceiling pendant was selected to reflect the compass inlay in the floor. Rustic farmhouse accents and pillows were selected to warm the space.
