Defining the perimeter of the front and side lawns, the garden is a celebration of color and variety. By incorporating weathered elements, such as the former porch column and birdhouse, the flower beds gain a romantic quality that sets the scene for the rest of the yard.

This beautiful front yard landscape compliments this house perfectly. It doesn't overwhelm the house, but compliments it with color all season long.

Festuca 'Siskyou Blue' makes for a striking lawn border or lawn. It's silvery-blue color delivers compelling contrast with Spanish tile rooves, terra cotta flagstone patios, and deeper greens. Its simple, predictable, mounding form also makes it a great match for modern structures.

Grevillea 'Long John' will grow to about 15 feet high by 6 feet wide, "plugging" the view of the street from within the property, while also serving as a curious focal point from the street. A mix of Yellow and Pink Kangaroo Paw plants bring harmony and contrast in the mid-view.

Weeds Garden Design Build LLC
This was a dried out weed strewn desert of a corner lot - including front, side and back gardens, with enormous parkways as well. The entire landscape hadn’t been touched in many years. We removed all the dead grass and weeds, created swales and berms, a big rain garden, paths and seating areas all with permeable paving. Also added fruit trees and veggie beds, and transformed the space completely. Now, the garden is full of birds, butterflies and pollinators! And the clients got a sizable rebate through the LADWP landscape rebate program!
