This little girl's bedroom is made to order from the custom cabinetry to the hand-painted lotus on the wall which is complemented with a lotus ceiling fixture. Iridescent window treatments add a touch of sophistication. Fully functional bedroom with plenty of storage, a desk for doing homework or creating and a small shelf with a mirror to create a custom vanity area. To avoid clutter, the desk chair doubles as the vanity chair. Accessories are an eclectic mix of things I brought in mixed with the girl's own art creations, medals, including her lovely art framed and hung over her bed .Additional pillows reflect their heritage. Designed for an enthusiastic gymnast, this tween bedroom features a set of wood stall bars for stretching and a headboard fashioned from an authentic gym mat. The pennant style window treatments and colorful custom bedding complete the gymnastics theme.

I wanted to create a kids arts & crafts area that both the kids and parents could enjoy. In order to do that I wanted to include the family in the creative process, so one Sunday afternoon we all got together and splattered paint on this custom table! The kids had a blast and the handprints of the parents and the kids made for the perfect finishing touch.
The light fixture is a custom piece that I made. I wanted it to have an industrial look but also be very chic so I dipped the brushes in the paint and added the crystals for the perfect touch of elegance to balance out this eclectic and fun space.
