ATIID collaborated with these homeowners to curate new furnishings throughout the home while their down-to-the studs, raise-the-roof renovation, designed by Chambers Design, was underway. Pattern and color were everything to the owners, and classic “Americana” colors with a modern twist appear in the formal dining room, great room with gorgeous new screen porch, and the primary bedroom. Custom bedding that marries not-so-traditional checks and florals invites guests into each sumptuously layered bed. Vintage and contemporary area rugs in wool and jute provide color and warmth, grounding each space. Bold wallpapers were introduced in the powder and guest bathrooms, and custom draperies layered with natural fiber roman shades ala Cindy’s Window Fashions inspire the palettes and draw the eye out to the natural beauty beyond. Luxury abounds in each bathroom with gleaming chrome fixtures and classic finishes. A magnetic shade of blue paint envelops the gourmet kitchen and a buttery yellow creates a happy basement laundry room. Un gran ventanal aporta luz natural al espacio. El techo ayuda a zonificar el espacio y alberga lass rejillas de ventilación (sistema aerotermia). La zona donde se ubica el sofá y la televisión completa su iluminación gracias a un bañado de luz dimerizable instalado en ambas aparedes. Su techo muestra las bovedillas y bigas de madera origintales, todo ello pintado de blanco. El techo correspondiente a la zona donde se encuentra la mesa comedor está resuelto en pladur, sensiblemente más bajo. La textura de las paredes origintales se convierte e unoa de las grandes protagonistas del espacio.

Зона столовой отделена от гостиной перегородкой из ржавых швеллеров, которая является опорой для брутального обеденного стола со столешницей из массива карагача с необработанными краями. Стулья вокруг стола относятся к эпохе европейского минимализма 70-х годов 20 века. Были перетянуты кожей коньячного цвета под стиль дивана изготовленного на заказ. Дровяной камин, обшитый керамогранитом с текстурой ржавого металла, примыкает к исторической белоснежной печи, обращенной в зону гостиной. Кухня зонирована от зоны столовой островом с барной столешницей. Подножье бара, сформировавшееся стихийно в результате неверно в полу выведенных водорозеток, было решено превратить в ступеньку, которая является излюбленным местом детей - на ней очень удобно сидеть в маленьком возрасте. Полы гостиной выложены из массива карагача тонированного в черный цвет. Фасады кухни выполнены в отделке микроцементом, который отлично сочетается по цветовой гамме отдельной ТВ-зоной на серой мраморной панели и другими монохромными элементами интерьера.

However, if you can make your dining room or dining room area an inviting but practical space to eat with friends and family, then you’ll have no excuse not to be the ever gracious dinner party host and make the most of your dining space. What are the best dining chairs for my table?

If your table hasn’t been sold with matching chairs then you have some extra flexibility to select dining chairs that suit your desired dining room feel. For traditional dining rooms you will want to opt for a full set of high backed formal dining chairs, whether these are upholstered, leather or wood framed. If you are looking for a more informal dining room, then a selection of mismatched chairs in different materials such as moulded plastic and even metal can be a great way to achieve this. For a really relaxed dining experience, you could even opt for a full length bench, which has the additional advantage of saving space as it can be tucked away under the table when not in use.

How should I decorate my dining room?
