Our Brookmans Park project was a single storey rear extension. The clients wanted to open up the back of the house to create an open plan living space. As it was such a large space we wanted to create something special which felt open but inviting at the same time. We created several zones and added pops of colour in the furniture and accessories. We created a Shoreditch vibe to the space with Crittall doors and a huge central fireplace placed in exposed London brick chimney. We then followed the exposed brick into the glass box zone. We loved the result of this project!

Заказчиком проекта выступила современная семья с одним ребенком. Объект нам достался уже с начатым ремонтом. Поэтому пришлось все ломать и начинать с нуля. Глобальной перепланировки достичь не удалось, т.к. практически все стены были несущие. В некоторых местах мы расширили проемы, а именно вход в кухню, холл и гардеробную с дополнительным усилением. Прошли процедуру согласования и начали разрабатывать детальный проект по оформлению интерьера. В дизайн-проекте мы хотели создать некую единую концепцию всей квартиры с применением отделки под дерево и камень. Одна из фишек данного интерьера - это просто потрясающие двери до потолка в скрытом коробе, производство фабрики Sofia и скрытый плинтус. Полотно двери и плинтус находится в одной плоскости со стеной, что делает интерьер непрерывным без лишних деталей. По нашей задумке они сделаны под окраску - в цвет стен. Несмотря на то, что они супер круто смотрятся и необыкновенно гармонируют в интерьере, мы должны понимать, что их монтаж и дальнейшие подводки стыков и откосов требуют высокой квалификации и аккуратностям строителей.

We designed and renovated a Mid-Century Modern home into an ADA compliant home with an open floor plan and updated feel. We incorporated many of the homes original details while modernizing them. We converted the existing two car garage into a master suite and walk in closet, designing a master bathroom with an ADA vanity and curb-less shower. We redesigned the existing living room fireplace creating an artistic focal point in the room. The project came with its share of challenges which we were able to creatively solve, resulting in what our homeowners feel is their first and forever home. This beautiful home won three design awards: • Pro Remodeler Design Award – 2019 Platinum Award for Universal/Better Living Design • Chrysalis Award – 2019 Regional Award for Residential Universal Design • Qualified Remodeler Master Design Awards – 2019 Bronze Award for Universal Design

The Hasserton is a sleek take on the waterfront home. This multi-level design exudes modern chic as well as the comfort of a family cottage. However, if you can make your dining room or dining room area an inviting but practical space to eat with friends and family, then you’ll have no excuse not to be the ever gracious dinner party host and make the most of your dining space. When choosing your dining room table, consider the number of people you expect to regularly seat – the perfect size for a dining table allows an intimate meal without feeling crowded. A round table leaves plenty of room for serving food at its centre, but a rectangular table is more flexible for seating extra guests at either end. If you’re after true versatility, drop leaf or extendable dining room tables are the most convenient option. The material of your selected table will set the character of your room. Glass dining tables look sleek and modern, whilst a pine or oak dining table will lend dining rooms a rustic country vibe. What are the best dining chairs for my table?

If your table hasn’t been sold with matching chairs then you have some extra flexibility to select dining chairs that suit your desired dining room feel. For traditional dining rooms you will want to opt for a full set of high backed formal dining chairs, whether these are upholstered, leather or wood framed. If you are looking for a more informal dining room, then a selection of mismatched chairs in different materials such as moulded plastic and even metal can be a great way to achieve this. For a really relaxed dining experience, you could even opt for a full length bench, which has the additional advantage of saving space as it can be tucked away under the table when not in use.

How should I decorate my dining room?

Elegant, neutral palettes are the safest dining room decorating ideas for smaller rooms, creating a calm dining environment for your guests. Pattern in a dining room can be a great choice to create drama but in order to not overwhelm your guests you might want to stick to a few stand-out elements – for example, wallpaper, curtains or chair covers. Low pendant lights directly over the dining table are both practical and striking, or for large formal dining rooms you may want to opt for a traditional chandelier hung from the centre of the room.
