Dinesen Showroom in Copenhagen
The leading producer of exclusive wooden flooring, Dinesen, turned to OEO to help conceive and design their new showroom in a historic setting next to the Copenhagen lakes. Here, OEO created a unique universe that captures the Dinesen spirit and transforms it into a fully embracing spatial experience.
Dinesen’s 600m2 showroom is divided in two experiences, which highlight a bold new direction and showcase the perfect simplicity of the company’s wood alongside new bespoke creations. One part takes the exclusiveness of long and wide wooden planks to a new level. It is like entering a private apartment with a ballroom and dining area, library and custom-made kitchen and wine cellar. The other part is a more raw and architectural playful universe. The main gallery room has a unique look, featuring both a huge wooden structure playing with light and shadow as well as a reception area inspired by the coffee culture found in Tokyo. A 15-meter long plank table pulls together the space.
