Powder room and coat closet were relocated from the center of the house to the garage wall. The door to the garage was shifted by 3 feet to extend uninterrupted wall space for kitchen cabinets and to allow for a bigger island.

Our clients purchased a new house, but wanted to add their own personal style and touches to make it really feel like home. How to find the right ideas for a country cloakroom?

How do you start planning your cloakroom when you’re starting from scratch? Serving a practical purpose first and foremost, the ideal downstairs toilet is fitted with a few basic items: the cloakroom suite (a toilet and a hand basin), a storage unit and a mirror. These four are essentials and should be small enough to avoid crowding the small space. Specially-designed short-projection units are made to maximise space. How should cloakrooms be decorated?
