Revival by DesignWhen we were asked by our clients to help fully overhaul this grade II listed property. We knew we needed to consider the spaces for modern day living and make it as open and light and airy as possible. There were a few specifics from our client, but on the whole we were left to the design the main brief being modern country with colour and pattern. There were some challenges along the way as the house is octagonal in shape and some rooms, especially the principal ensuite were quite a challenge.
JayMarc HomesThe Kelso's Bathroom showcases a stylish and contemporary design with a touch of elegance. The black bathroom faucet and black cabinet and drawer hardware add a sleek and sophisticated accent to the space. The gray penny tile backsplash and gray subway tile shower create a visually appealing backdrop, adding texture and depth to the overall design. Light wood cabinets provide a warm and natural element, balancing the darker accents in the room. A beautiful pink orchid adds a pop of color and a touch of freshness to the space. The white quartz countertop offers a clean and polished surface, complementing the overall color scheme. The combination of these elements creates a harmonious and inviting atmosphere in the Kelso's Bathroom, making it a serene and stylish retreat.

Kimberlee Marie InteriorsIt’s always a blessing when your clients become friends - and that’s exactly what blossomed out of this two-phase remodel (along with three transformed spaces!). These clients were such a joy to work with and made what, at times, was a challenging job feel seamless. This project consisted of two phases, the first being a reconfiguration and update of their master bathroom, guest bathroom, and hallway closets, and the second a kitchen remodel.
In keeping with the style of the home, we decided to run with what we called “traditional with farmhouse charm” – warm wood tones, cement tile, traditional patterns, and you can’t forget the pops of color! The master bathroom airs on the masculine side with a mostly black, white, and wood color palette, while the powder room is very feminine with pastel colors.
When the bathroom projects were wrapped, it didn’t take long before we moved on to the kitchen. The kitchen already had a nice flow, so we didn’t need to move any plumbing or appliances. Instead, we just gave it the facelift it deserved! We wanted to continue the farmhouse charm and landed on a gorgeous terracotta and ceramic hand-painted tile for the backsplash, concrete look-alike quartz countertops, and two-toned cabinets while keeping the existing hardwood floors. We also removed some upper cabinets that blocked the view from the kitchen into the dining and living room area, resulting in a coveted open concept floor plan.
Our clients have always loved to entertain, but now with the remodel complete, they are hosting more than ever, enjoying every second they have in their home.

Ellsworth Design BuildThe home wasn't built with a bathroom, so we tried to imagine what it could have looked like had it been added in the 20's, the period of the existing clawfoot tub. The Greek key motif added some interest, the console sink saved space in this tight bath. The wainscoting is nearly entirely original, a few rotted boards got replaced using wood salvaged from elsewhere.
