Converted Barn - Kitchen/Dining Room

For this impressive barn conversion the kitchen and dining room have been fitted with a gorgeous Amtico design in Parisian pine in two different patterns, giving the open space a unique and impressive finish. The floor had been applied with fibre reinforced screed as this is the ideal base for underfloor heating, as the fibres can endure more resistance and increases strength whilst providing a level and sleek floor. This was applied to SP101 plywood, which is developed specifically for the purpose of flooring as the ply is calibrated on both sides giving a perfectly level surface to work from. The adhesive used for this area was an Amtico High Temperature, which is a co-polymer emulsion adhesive that has a notably high resistance to temperature variations. With protection against bio-degradation and is solvent free, it is the ideal choice for underfloor heating installations to secure the Amtico tiles. The kitchen and utility has the Amtico Parisian pine in a plank weave design. The Amtico signature collection allows you to choose a colour and create and lay a pattern that is completely individual to you. So following through down the stairs into the dining room, this space was fitted with the same Parsian pine colour but in a basket weave design with a 9inch border, giving the essentially one big open space a unique feel to both areas. The steps were fitted in a Parisian pine 9inch plank with a uk little lip trim stair rods, which finished the room off nicely with some subtle design.
