We continued the theme and gave the fireplace the same treatment as the kitchen to balance out the room.

The entryway, living room, kitchen and dining room have a large open-concept floor plan that is ideal for entertaining. The white walls brighten up the space, while the tongue and groove details and blue painted ceiling create a soothing and intimate environment.

Easy living great room by the beach.
A small weekend beach resort home for a family of four with two little girls. Remodeled from a funky old house built in the 60's on Oxnard Shores. A great room open to the dining area with a zinc dining table and rattan chairs. Fireplace features custom iron doors, and green glass tile surround. New white cabinets and bookshelves flank the real wood burning fire place. Simple clean white cabinetry in the kitchen with x designs on glass cabinet doors and peninsula ends. Durable, beautiful white quartzite counter tops and yes! porcelain planked floors for durability! The girls can run in and out without worrying about the beach sand damage!. White painted planked and beamed ceilings, natural reclaimed woods mixed with rattans and velvets for comfortable, beautiful interiors Project Location: Oxnard, California. A neutral background is a great place to start when you're after high impact color. Back-to-back sofas divide the space into two separate areas in this long narrow space: TV viewing and conversation/games.
The bed pictured here is a bed in the wall - it passes all the way through to a guest room on the other side.
This Saugatuck home overlooking the Kalamazoo River was featured in Coastal Living's March 2015 Color Issue!

I chose lighting fixtures that created patterns that mimic the way the sun causes light to reflect off the lake. I wanted the furniture to impart a real sense of sophisticated warmth and style, without compromising function. I pulled together cottage contemporary mélange with mid-century modern and refinished carefully selected family vintage pieces. The home has an elegantly casual feel that’s eclectic, as if it has been assembled over a long period of life experiences.

We gave this newly-built weekend home in New London, New Hampshire a colorful and contemporary interior style. The successful result of a partnership with Smart Architecture, Grace Hill Construction and Terri Wilcox Gardens, we translated the contemporary-style architecture into modern, yet comfortable interiors for a Massachusetts family. Creating a lake home designed for gatherings of extended family and friends that will produce wonderful memories for many years to come.
