Dragonfly DesignsA custom vanity made from reclaimed Wyoming snow fence wood is a home for an antique milk bucket fashioned into a sink. The mirror is made from an old window frame, and the light fixtures from old plumbing fittings.

DesignlineThe powder room was remodeled with the addition of wainscoting and chair rail rail. A subtle vertical stripe was created by using the same wall color in alternating bands of flat and eggshell finish. A single sconce over the toilet adds to the elegant feel of the room and casts a flattering light. The walls are covered with a collection of black and white engravings that were collected over time.

Simply Home DecoratingThe owner of this suburban townhouse was looking to decorate her space in a clean contemporary style. Her main priority was to accommodate her large extended family in the tiny family room off the kitchen where everyone always gathers. We maximized the seating with an apartment sized sectional that seats six, added a compact armless occasional chair in the fourth corner of the room and provided two ottomans that can be stored against the wall and brought out for extra seating when needed. A palette of grays and warm walnut wood tones are punctuated with hits of orange and fuchsia in changeable items like toss pillows and throw blankets. Eve Mode DesignGiven the monocromatic colors in the living room and foyer, it was important for the powder room to pop with color and elegance. The bright floral wallpaper, crystal sconces, crystal hardware and metalic gray paint create a sophisticated yet welcoming powder room.

12/12 Architects & PlannersThis 1990s brick home had decent square footage and a massive front yard, but no way to enjoy it. Each room needed an update, so the entire house was renovated and remodeled, and an addition was put on over the existing garage to create a symmetrical front. The old brown brick was painted a distressed white.
The 500sf 2nd floor addition includes 2 new bedrooms for their teen children, and the 12'x30' front porch lanai with standing seam metal roof is a nod to the homeowners' love for the Islands. Each room is beautifully appointed with large windows, wood floors, white walls, white bead board ceilings, glass doors and knobs, and interior wood details reminiscent of Hawaiian plantation architecture.
The kitchen was remodeled to increase width and flow, and a new laundry / mudroom was added in the back of the existing garage. The master bath was completely remodeled. Every room is filled with books, and shelves, many made by the homeowner.
