CHALLENGE
To create a compelling design statement that not only captures the quintessential character of a country French estate within a single room, but also serves as inspiration for other areas throughout.
SOLUTION
Every design detail was chose to envelop the occupant with a sense of luxury compatible with the personality of the estate.
Lush custom draperies and luxurious cashmere bedding enhance the “historic” feeling of the four-poster bed.
Art, carefully chosen to fit comfortably into the theme, includes nine hand-blown custom glass panels, Jamali painting on cork, and two gilded 24-karat paintings.
Eclectic furnishings complete the country French concept with engaging visual interest.

Simple, cool, and deliciously elegant this guest room is attainable to anyone who isn't afraid to mix things up a bit; an extra side table, extra chair, and classic white bedding and crisp, ice blue sheets were pulled together from various rooms in the house to create this peaceful scene. Folks often have treasures hiding in plain sight! Photo by Charles Dickens Photography

Design Challenge: MOTIV Interiors created this colorful yet relaxing retreat - a space for guests to unwind and recharge after a long day of exploring Nashville! Luxury, comfort, and functionality merge in this AirBNB project we completed in just 2 short weeks. Navigating a tight budget, we supplemented the homeowner’s existing personal items and local artwork with great finds from facebook marketplace, vintage + antique shops, and the local salvage yard. The result: a collected look that’s true to Nashville and vacation ready!
TAB Interior Designs LLC
TAB refreshed what was an all cream and boring master bedroom into this dark and moody yet feminine retreat. It is okay to have fun with your 5th wall and paint it, make it a feature with wallcovering, or add a treatment with wood. Another item that some fear is wallpaper...well in this space we did apply this peel and stick wallpaper mural that was installed by the home owners to help with the budget! The bed and dresser was existing to the clients but we wanted to make the space a little more fun by adding vintage looking cream sidetables with storage to offset the dark woods, offset the masculin navy paint with feminine blush tones, and added a tone of texture and softness with the pillows and throws. The large chrystal chandelier and lovely lamps reflect a beautiul glow off of the wonderful mirrows flanking the bed. To finish off the space we found a large, velvet soft area rug to center everything on that shared all the new colors. This project was an e-design project with a strict budget that we were able to beat and get done in record breaking time...and it was so beautiful that, as you can see, it was freatured in a local magazine!
Les Artistes
This fun 11yr old boys room was designed around this custom canvas. Upon working with the canvas & his favorite color teal as inspiration- he chose bedding for its soft quality which is reversible and cost effective.
To pull the room together we mocked the Chevron pattern on the back wall, painted the old wood armoire shiny white, added the white leather headboard, mirrored night table & finished with touch lite lamps.
While creating kids rooms a budget & guide lines are created with the parent(s) & my favorite part is engaging with the kids to give them a voice & decision making skills in the space. This creates balance between the child & parent. A parent wants the space to be everlasting from a monetary value, as well want their child to be happy in their space. Having the child contribute to the process gets them really excited about the transformation and offers ultimate happiness in their personalized space.
