Carmen JiménezEn esta ocasión, los propietarios partían de una vivienda heredada, con un mobiliario muy antiguo y una decoración prácticamente inexistente.
Necesitaban conseguir ponerlo en alquiler con una inversión económica mínima y un plazo inferior a 1 mes.
Este fue el resultado en el dormitorio infantil de la vivienda. La intervención consistió, al igual que en el otro dormitorio, en la creación de un cabecero de cama lineal y protagonista con pintura de pared y la introducción de textiles y detalles de decoración e iluminación. Previamente a esto, se procedió a la eliminación de cortinas y elementos que oscurecían y empequeñecían el espacio y se pintaron las paredes y el techo de la estancia de unos colores neutros y relajantes que potenciasen la luz proveniente de dos huecos de ventana ubicados en un patio de luces y ventilación del bloque.
No se hicieron cambios ni de pavimento ni de mobiliario de gran volumen por ajuste del presupuesto.

My youngest client ever! I met this 4 year old's parents when they had me over to take a look at their on going living room project. After working on a couple of spaces in their West Loop building, they had come to know me and my work. We started, instead, with the daughters room. It was a total blank slate. They parents wanted something girly, but not pink, youthful but not toddler, and vintage but not traditional. I understood exactly what this room needed.
ESTUDI A L'ÀTIC. Benvinguts al Slow Design!Con el cambio de distribución conseguimos aportar dos habitaciones simétricas para las pequeñas de la casa. Ambas contienen cama nido, armario propio y zona libre de juegos o estudio. Su decoración, escogida por los propietarios, le da un toque infantil actualizado que enamora a cualquiera.
El elemento distintivo de cada habitación es la puerta de entrada. En un caso recuperamos las puertas dobles originales de la sala; en el otro duplicamos el uso de la puerta del armario como puerta de entrada corredera, de esta manera no restamos metros libres para el juego.
