We were asked to help transform a cluttered, half-finished common area to an organized, multi-functional homework/play/lounge space for this family of six. They were so pleased with the desk setup for the kids, that we created a similar workspace for their office. In the midst of designing these living areas, they had a leak in their kitchen, so we jumped at the opportunity to give them a brand new one. This project was a true collaboration between owner and designer, as it was done completely remotely.

Minimalist inspired desk and chair create a light and airy feel to the office space allowing plenty of room to move around and get inspired. The hexagonal shelving was custom built to create a natural centerpiece for the room. The room sparks creativity and inspires one's workspace.

Our client wanted a home office that could be hidden away in an instant. The only space within the house to house the office was next to the living room therefore we created a nook where we installed a built-in desk that can be hidden away by a set of sliding bi-fold doors. This eclectic home workspace was created with plenty of room for creative thought. A magnetic plaster wall to one side allows moodboards to evolve, and a vintage haberdashery shop unit has been cleverly re-purposed for storage.

This here is a picture of recent hardwood floor we refinished. The homeowner wanted a grey stain, so we did just that! After the grey stain was applied we finished the floor with three coats of Bona Mega HD Satin. This hardwood floor will beautiful for many years to come.

We took a pass through room without purpose and turned it into a vibrant, functional, high design office that works well for the entire family. Wrap around shelving, inspired by mid century designs, gave the room loads of personality and storage for both husband and wife, and their 2 year old son. While children's books, crafting tools and educational supplies are stored on the easy-access lower shelves, work materials and reference books are stored on the top shelves. A room-wide desk provides an ample side by side work space for both professionals to share comfortably.

Upstairs hallway landing was transformed from an empty, unusable space to a study area for the kids. The chair has a removable cover for easy cleaning, and vintage, flea market finds add decor to the tabletop. The gallery wall gives the family a place to hang up special memories.

This new build home had absolutely zero storage space for my clients who love to read! Together we custom designed the bookshelves to fit both their home office space and their book collection.
