This seating area is design on a "three season porch". This was a very affordable design. We used items from Target and TJMaxx to accessorize. We added a white tray top to the pedestal to create another table. The ottomans are actually wicker baskets that are turned upside down.

Austin's Casa Azul is the the spot for all things happy.
This AirBnb remodel it is joyful, hip and functional. I was hired to design, procure and set up this one bedroom private apartment, an Austin jewel nestled in Windsor Park.
The bedroom, living room and dining space are furnished in bold colors and fun and eclectic style with a nod to Moroccan vibes.
Take time to relax in the private outdoor area designated to you and your guest. We painted the fence a bright happy color and faced it with a colorful mural, making the space bright and fun. Chair lounge chairs, fire pit, café lights and grill finish the space making it party ready. Herb garden, succulent arrangement and fun, colorful metal art and décor add pops of color and interest.
Casa Azul is ready for your stay.

Not everyone has thousands of dollars to improve their property.
This San Diego couple hired MLSdesign group to convert their existing carport into a design studio.
During the construction process, they requested a "simple" improvement to their rear yard which is a very harsh environment of high winds and blazing sun.
Michael created a tasteful place for them to both entertain and relax.

The entry to my studio. A great place to sit in the late afternoon sun. Notice the clever use of the photographed storm drain as you enter what was filled with over 4' of water during the storm.

We love balconies and decks and will even photograph them covered in snow!! Super-important to note that the other unit that had sold in the building had NOT had any furniture on the balcony and so it looked significantly smaller. Even the back deck is a room to furnish!!

A miniature cement form planter holds tiny succulents in all different colors and forms.

This miniature gnome workshop scene is set in a succulent container garden planted in an antique replica bowl. The bowl has a hole in it which gives drainage that succulents need. We don't want any root rot! I keep this cute container garden outside in a sunny section of my patio in the summer and bring it inside during the colder months. We updated the outdoor furniture we purchased at an auction house with bright colours and fun chinese lanterns. The bamboo walls added a fun element to an otherwise boring wall. The neighbours planted bamboo which I love since it adds a level of privacy to the garden.

This leftover space provides a cozy setting for outdoor eating, barbeque, and orchid culture. Drainage, irrigation, and night lighting are artfully concealed.
