One Room at a Time, Inc.
This custom home was designed and built by One Room at a Time, Inc. The existing lake home would not hold the new 2nd floor the homeowners desired, so we raised it and built a new one. The home design features all stick framed construction so the interior can be completely vaulted in all second floor rooms, including a vast living room. More photos to come as we wrap up this project.
Exterior siding is deep navy marine blue with deep rust windows and cream trim. All composite low-maintenance. 3 bedroom, 2 bath plus basement laundry, craft room and living space.

This is a classic southern style cottage nestled on a wooded lot with a screened in porch, operable shutters on large windows with transoms. The roof is stylishly detailed with open rafter tails and decorative roof brackets. The Old Chicago Brick skirt adds a classic look. The cottage has a detached carport and storage shed with a covered walkway and an outdoor kitchen and living area. It was built by Achee Properties and designed by Bob Chatham Custom Home Design.

One of the key attributes of Muskoka are the numerous boathouses nestled on the shorelines of all the major lakes. In addition to docking a boat, many of these boathouses feature beautiful sitting rooms, bathrooms, exercise rooms and grand bedrooms. Boathouses can be fixed to the shore, floating or on piles nestled in the Lake. They are very distinctive aspect of Ontario's cottage country and sometimes when you are boating past you can get a peak some of the prized Muskoka antique wood boat nestled inside.
