A bold statement and a warm welcome — that’s the tone our client set for this Guest Bathroom Renovation In Bucktown. The blue labyrinth vanity wallpaper introduces a striking element to the room, boasting bold geometric patterns that elevates the overall design. Secret Silver tiles grace the shower wall, niche, and floor, creating a sophisticated atmosphere with its marble effect and contrasting tones. The gray-painted wall and white ceiling tie everything together to create the perfect balance without overwhelming the space. The space is enhanced with the decorative accent of Newbury Glass Penny Mosaic in the shower floor, giving the bathroom an additional creative expression through its distinctive shape and color. The Shadowbox mirror from Shades of Light features a sleek matte black finish, providing depth in the border for both aesthetic appeal and function. The Industrial Triangle Shade Three Light lights up the vanity, embodying industrial minimalism, making the room burst with light and style. This guest bathroom brought our client's vision to life – a modern and inviting space that is functional at the same time. A dreary powder room was transformed into a crisp, bright master bath with quarter-sawn cherry cabinetry by Foster Custom Woodworks, Glacier White Corian countertop and stunning Ann Sacks shower tiles. A clever, custom sliding mirror does double duty, covering the window and providing privacy when not in place over the sink.

We took the home owners love of classic design incorporated with unexpected rich color to create a casual yet sophisticated home. Vibrant color was used to inspire energy in some rooms, while peaceful watery tones were used in others to evoke calm and tranquility. The master bathroom color pallet and overall aesthetic was designed to be reminiscent of suite bathrooms at the Trump Towers in Chicago. Materials, patterns and textures are all simple and clean in keeping with the scale and openness of the rest of the home. While detail and interest was added with hardware, accessories and lighting by incorporating shine and sparkle with masculine flair. Photo: Mary Santaga

This contemporary master bathroom has all the elements of a roman bath—it’s beautiful, serene and decadent. Double showers and a partially sunken Jacuzzi add to its’ functionality. The glass shower enclosure bridges the full height of the angled ceilings—120” h. The floor of the bathroom and shower are on the same plane which eliminates that pesky shower curb. The linear drain is understated and cool. Andrew McKinney Photography

The shower includes dual shower areas, four body spray tiles (two on each side) and a large glass surround keeping the uncluttered theme for the room while still offering privacy with an etched “belly band” around the perimeter. The etching is only on the outside of the glass with the inside being kept smooth for cleaning purposes. The end result is a bathroom that is luxurious and light, with nothing extraneous to distract the eye. The peaceful and quiet ambiance that the room exudes hit exactly the mark that the clients were looking for.

HOMEREDIHOMEREDI
Our New Home Buyer commissioned HOMEREDI to convert their old Master Bathroom into a spacious newly designed Contemporary retreat. We asked our designer Samantha Murray from SM Designs to work with our client to select all required tiles from our tile distributor. We then extended full contractor pricing toward the purchase of all fixtures used in this Spa bathroom. One of the unique features of this bathroom is a large 40"x40"x32" Japanese style soaking tub. Once this magnificent project was completed we asked our professional photographer Chuck Dana's Photography to capture the beauty of implementation. Lots of credit also goes to our clients who worked with us and our designer to fine tune their requirements. We are privileged to make their imagination come to life in this magnificent space.
