La moitié de la cuisine présente des meubles Fenix qui touchent le plafond. Ensuite le plan de travail court jusqu'au lave-vaisselle encastré à mi hauteur dans un meuble en chêne clair avec une façade noire. Cette cuisine installée à Oudon présente une grande verrière encastrée sur deux cloisons, et un petit ilot central. L'ilot central en forme de pentagone. L'espace est équipé de deux sièges hauts, équipés de vérins haut de gamme.

J'ai accompagné mes clients de la conception de leur nouveau rez-de-chaussée à la réalisation des travaux. La maison était alors chauffée au fioul et la cuisine manquait de lumière. Le parti pris a été d'installer une pompe à chaleur et de déplacer la cuisine pour lui donner une vue vers le jardin et plus de luminosité. La nouvelle cuisine a été conçue selon les besoins et les envies des clients, dans un bleu marine profond. Le choix du sol s'est porté sur un carrelage effet bois chaud, idéal sur un chauffage au sol qui en plus évite les radiateurs. L'ensemble des murs ont été peints dans la même couleur : un gris-rose très clair discret et chic, avec les plinthes et portes un ton plus sombre. L'escalier et l'entrée ont été complètement changés pour du mobilier sur mesure intégrant plusieurs rangements pratiques.

The kitchen U-shaped run incorporates a Belfast sink, a Bertazzoni range cooker and a bespoke larder unit. The larder cupboards feature a bridging unit over the Fisher and Paykel fridge freezer. This bridging unit houses a microwave which is cleverly tucked into the side. The microwave is hidden from view but still fully accessible. The larder units have many drawers – each drawer and shelf space was dictated by the client’s requirements. This is a true cook’s kitchen. All of the handmade drawers are oak veneered birch plywood - and run on full extension soft close runners. The cutlery drawer has a secret - there is a magnetic knife block to keep all knives in tip top condition. The dresser has a beautiful white marble top and bi fold doors. Special details include LED white lights set inside the dresser on door activated sensors. There are strip LED's on the top of the larder unit and dresser to lift a dark area. We worked closely with electricians, plumbers and the floor tiler to ensure everything was just right. Painted in farrow and ball paints, main kitchen 'railings' and the dresser is 'manor house grey' both using a dark tones undercoat and hand sanding in between each coat.
