A little curtain magic from Osborne and Little in the form of a gold coin fringe – set against a contrasting deep blue ink fabric.

The boy's room in this single family home includes boyish striped bedding that appeals to multiple ages, and incorporates a vintage feel with the artwork, accent pillow, clock and lamp. The showstopper in this room is the chalkboard paint, swathed between two squared white trim pieces, which we further enhanced by drawing a dotted line implying that the car was in fact driving around the room. Part of our award-winning model home design in Winslow, New Jersey.

Construction is a theme every builder loves to see in a young boys dream, we take this one step further by utilizing a bright orange barricade for a construction zoned headboard. A small galvanized metal chest sits bedside with tools at the lamp.

This home features Cambria Brittanicca on the kitchen island with Cambria Whitehall on the perimeter; and that gorgeous backsplash tile. She used Cambria Carrick in the powder bath with white subway tile. Her hearth room features a custom built desk using Cambria New Quay. Now that's a lot of Cambria! For her children's study area she added cabinets and a working station with Formica Soapstone Sequoia countertops. The master bath feature granite countertops. This home definitely say WOW!

Burnished metallic stars against an inky, charcoal sky – this wallpaper is an absolute dream (and one of our favourites) from Barneby Gates. We had the perfect opportunity to use it in this girl's room – creating something a little more sophisticated than your average children's room that will see her into her teenage years.

While respecting the history and architecture of the house, we created an updated version of the home’s original personality with contemporary finishes that still feel appropriate, while also incorporating some of the original furniture passed down in the family. Two decades and two teenage sons later, the family needed their home to be more user friendly and to better suit how they live now. We used a lot of unique and upscale finishes that would contrast each other and add panache to the space.
