The owners of the stylish new home in Madison, CT wanted their home to include double hung windows “trimmed in white” to tie the design to the overall aesthetics of the home as well as other homes throughout the neighborhood. For architect Joseph Ferrucci, aesthetics wasn’t the only thing he was looking for in a traditional double hung window; high performance, cost and ease of installation were also critical to finding the right windows for this project.
