greencube garden and landscape designWe have designed this bespoke garden to fit with the newly refurbished house for a family in Sevenoaks who love to entertain and cook outdoors.
Using statement pots, transitional terraces, and embracing the level changes, providing lots of opportunities to sit and put your feet up. This garden includes a WWoo outdoor kitchen with gas grill and pizza oven. A bespoke hexagonal logstore has been situated outside the side path, and close to the log burner.
LID LandscapesUsing existing materials, we were able to seamlessly incorporate a water feature into this cozy courtyard. We extended the existing concrete patio into the yard with a patio made of porcelain and connected it to the guest house with a stepper path. Accents of black Mexican beach pebbles are incorporated throughout the landscape with a diverse collection of shrubs and perennials. This project is located in Boulder, Colorado.
Arbordale LandscapingThis is a Credit Valley ledgerock and flagstone raised patio and pool deck. The serviceberry tree is fruiting (edible) right now and adds a great splash of red in the late summer. The stained cedar fence has a plywood backer, which gives the illusion that it is vacant behind the slats. The cap-less ledgerock wall has a very unique feel to it, with the off-centre, sheer descent water feature. The planter for annuals has drip irrigation. Love how the rhododendron, to the left of the water feature, is really starting to stretch over the pool. We can see a sundial type garden ornament at the bottom of the photo, which was selected by the client.
Colm Joseph GardensOversize sawn limestone paving units create two distinct seating areas, nestled amongst the naturalistic planting. Limestone gravel offers offers textural interest and lower maintenance gardening. A simple bowl introduces the reflective, calming quality of water.
A unified boundary treatment of hornbeam hedge and pleached hornbeam trees give the garden improved privacy and visual harmony. Four multi-stem hornbeam trees offer sculptural form, helping to shape the space within the garden.
Intrinsic LandscapesThe job was very detailed and involved bluestone paving, aggregate concrete, granite alfresco, brick feature fence, floating seat cladded with bluestone, steel pergola, feature screens, planter boxes, pots, steppers, irrigation, synthetic turf, custom drainage, lighting and of course beautiful plants. Working with a sloping block was challenging however it was levelled precisely and accurately.
