ダイニングテーブルの横にルーフバルコニーに出られる窓があります。この窓をダイニングのすぐ近くの日常的に見る窓にすることで、日常の中にルーフバルコニーがある様に感じられることを意図しました。ペンダントライトはニューライトポタリー。

Квартира на бывшей табачной фабрике в небольшом городке в Тоскане. Проект делался неспешно, в соавторстве с Татьяной Селезневой. Законы и правила отличаются сильно от привычных в России. Главное - никто никуда не спешит)) По желанию заказчиков мебель собиралась по кусочкам, из разных мест. Например, лестница была сделана местным мастером из соседней деревушки. Все ступеньки выдвижные. Места мало, и в каждой ступеньке полка для обуви. Фартук кухни и зеркало это работа итальянского мозаичиста. Потолок традиционный для старинных домов Тосканы. Комод в прихожую привезли из Франции. Стулья в столовой De padova, стол этника. Шкафы Lago Mobili. Свет Patrizia Garganti. Аксессуары покупались на блошиных рынках в Италии и Голландии. Было интересно.

Industrial Features Enhanced… Our lighting selection were chosen to mimic the structural elements. Charred wood, natural walnut and steel-look tiles were all chosen as a gesture to the industrial era’s use of raw materials. Creating a Cohesive Look with Furnishings and Accessories… Designer Tessea McCrary added luster with curated furnishings, fixtures and accessories. Her selections of color and texture using a pallet of cream, grey and walnut wood with a hint of blue and black created an updated classic contemporary look complimenting the industrial vide.

Originally, the dining layout was too small for our clients needs. We reconfigured the space to allow for a larger dining table to entertain guests. Adding the layered lighting installation helped to define the longer space and bring organic flow and loose curves above the angular custom dining table. The door to the pantry is disguised by the wood paneling on the wall.

With views out to the pool area, this internal space is flexible in terms of use. Dining area, play room or yoga space, this space can be breezy and sunny with the doors and screens open, or cool and shaded with the doors closed. Being built in a flood zone, the walls are required to be single skin construction. With structure on display, neat construction is essential.

A large custom made dining table comfortably seats twelve. We used mix and match style chairs for ease of replacement for this home which will inevitably have a lot of use with large groups. We used the same chairs for the rooms 6 seat game table in an adjacent corner. A kitchen pass through with four counter height bar stools offers even more dining seating.

When choosing your dining room table, consider the number of people you expect to regularly seat – the perfect size for a dining table allows an intimate meal without feeling crowded. A round table leaves plenty of room for serving food at its centre, but a rectangular table is more flexible for seating extra guests at either end. If you’re after true versatility, drop leaf or extendable dining room tables are the most convenient option. The material of your selected table will set the character of your room. Glass dining tables look sleek and modern, whilst a pine or oak dining table will lend dining rooms a rustic country vibe. What are the best dining chairs for my table?

If your table hasn’t been sold with matching chairs then you have some extra flexibility to select dining chairs that suit your desired dining room feel. For traditional dining rooms you will want to opt for a full set of high backed formal dining chairs, whether these are upholstered, leather or wood framed. If you are looking for a more informal dining room, then a selection of mismatched chairs in different materials such as moulded plastic and even metal can be a great way to achieve this. For a really relaxed dining experience, you could even opt for a full length bench, which has the additional advantage of saving space as it can be tucked away under the table when not in use.

How should I decorate my dining room?

Elegant, neutral palettes are the safest dining room decorating ideas for smaller rooms, creating a calm dining environment for your guests. Pattern in a dining room can be a great choice to create drama but in order to not overwhelm your guests you might want to stick to a few stand-out elements – for example, wallpaper, curtains or chair covers. Your tableware and serveware should ideally be chosen to coordinate with your decor choices, but if all else fails keep it white, bright and simple. Lighting is also key to your dining room decor – aim for dimmable light that you can adjust to create the mood that will allow your guests to relax but still be able to see their food. Low pendant lights directly over the dining table are both practical and striking, or for large formal dining rooms you may want to opt for a traditional chandelier hung from the centre of the room.
