Expand, IncThis is a sensory room built for a child that we recently worked with. This room allowed for them to have a safe and fun place to spend their time. Not only safe and fun, but beautiful! With a hideaway bunk, place to eat, place to watch TV, gaming stations, a bathroom, and anything you'd possibly need to have a blissful day.
Jen Talbot DesignThe Brooklyn playroom was designed as a woodland wonderland full of unexpected secret places to discover. The rooms main feature is a hand constructed life size 100% felt interactive tree with velcro-able lemons that can be “picked”, birds to be pulled from nests, soft low poufs fashioned to look like cut wood, vintage foot stool transformed into a mommy raccoon for extra seating and a vine covered swing hanging from a branch.
ELM Construction LLCThe homeowners were ready to renovate this basement to add more living space for the entire family. Before, the basement was used as a playroom, guest room and dark laundry room! In order to give the illusion of higher ceilings, the acoustical ceiling tiles were removed and everything was painted white. The renovated space is now used not only as extra living space, but also a room to entertain in.

Swanson HomesA fun design twist we incorporated into this lower level is secret kids play area. With white oak paneling acting as camouflage to a doorway, this secret room has custom shelving and storage for all of your kids’ playthings!
Kimberlee Marie InteriorsWhen this young family approached us, they had just bought a beautiful new build atop Clyde Hill with a mix of craftsman and modern farmhouse vibes. Since this family had lived abroad for the past few years, they were moving back to the States without any furnishings and needed to start fresh. With a dog and a growing family, durability was just as important as the overall aesthetic. We curated pieces to add warmth and style while ensuring performance fabrics and kid-proof selections were present in every space. The result was a family-friendly home that didn't have to sacrifice style.

Lauren Levant InteriorThe soaring cathedral ceilings and warm exposed beams were the only features to speak of in this non-descript open landing. Off the hallway near the kids’ rooms, its small size and open layout made it something in between a hallway and a room. While most might consider a TV or office nook for this space, its adjacency to the children’s quarters inspired the designer toward something more imaginative. Inspired by the bright open space, this design achieves a sort of Balinese treehouse aesthetic – and all of it is designed specifically for fun.
Playful hanging beds swing freely on sisal rope, creating a beckoning space that draws in children and adults alike. The mattresses were filled especially with non-toxic, non-petroleum natural fiber fill to make them healthy to sleep and lounge on – and encased in removable, washable organic cotton slipcovers. As the children are young, the floor space (finished in non-toxic lacquer) is kept clear and available for sprawling play. Large storage benches topped with walnut seats keep toys and books well organized, and ready for action at any time.
