Twilly and FigOur client asked us to design a transitional space that would be light and airy. They loved blue green and grays. We selected a modern fabric for the accent chairs. All of the furniture and accessories brought in the color while keeping the walls and window treatment fabric in neutral colors.

Scope: This home was a new home we developed and built in Atlanta, GA. This was built to fit into the historical neighborhood. This is the family room.

Signature Designs Kitchen | Bath | InteriorsWe took our clients home to the next level. A touch of glamour from every vantage point and a custom crafted the hood center stage finished in stainless and accented with matte brass. Sitting snuggly next to the custom hood are wall cabinets in a two-toned finish with X mullions. The inserts in the wall cabinets where chosen to be an antique mirror to add a big of glam but also to keep the mess hidden behind the door. It’s not just a place to cook dinner, it’s an interior design, it’s decor that deserves to be featured in a magazine. Metallic accents will give your kitchen a glamorous touch no matter its style or design: silver, bronze, rose or yellow gold work especially great in neutral black and white interiors.
Patterned, metallic, or textured, interesting backsplash tile bring this kitchen to the next level by adding character to the kitchen design. Across from the kitchen is the open family room area that lacked seating and flow.
Our design team felt like it was important to combine this kitchen and family room into a great room and not single entities. Every room should connect to those around it in some way. Nyhus Design GroupCharming Old World meets new, open space planning concepts. This Ranch Style home turned English Cottage maintains very traditional detailing and materials on the exterior, but is hiding a more transitional floor plan inside. The 49 foot long Great Room brings together the Kitchen, Family Room, Dining Room, and Living Room into a singular experience on the interior. By turning the Kitchen around the corner, the remaining elements of the Great Room maintain a feeling of formality for the guest and homeowner's experience of the home. A long line of windows affords each space fantastic views of the rear yard.

MA Peterson Design Build, Inc.Upon entering the great room, the view of the beautiful Minnehaha Creek can be seen in the banks of picture windows. The former great room was traditional and set with dark wood that our homeowners hoped to lighten. We softened everything by taking the existing fireplace out and creating a transitional great stone wall for both the modern simplistic fireplace and the TV. Two seamless bookcases were designed to blend in with all the woodwork on either end of the fireplace and give flexibly to display special and meaningful pieces from our homeowners’ travels. The transitional refreshment of colors and vibe in this room was finished with a bronze Markos flush mount light fixture.

Beth Dotolo, ASID, RID, NCIDQThis forever home, perfect for entertaining and designed with a place for everything, is a contemporary residence that exudes warmth, functional style, and lifestyle personalization for a family of five. Our busy lawyer couple, with three close-knit children, had recently purchased a home that was modern on the outside, but dated on the inside. They loved the feel, but knew it needed a major overhaul. Being incredibly busy and having never taken on a renovation of this scale, they knew they needed help to make this space their own. Upon a previous client referral, they called on Pulp to make their dreams a reality. Then ensued a down to the studs renovation, moving walls and some stairs, resulting in dramatic results. Beth and Carolina layered in warmth and style throughout, striking a hard-to-achieve balance of livable and contemporary. The result is a well-lived in and stylish home designed for every member of the family, where memories are made daily.
