We completely re-worked the floor plan on this project. We opened up the back of this home, by removing a number of walls and levelling the floors throughout to create a space that flows harmoniously from the entry all the way through to the deck at the rear of the property.
Cumulus StudioThe project was the result of a highly collaborative design process between the client and architect. This collaboration led to a design outcome which prioritised light, expanding volumes and increasing connectivity both within the home and out to the garden.
Within the complex original plan, rational solutions were found to make sense of late twentieth century extensions and underutilised spaces. Compartmentalised spaces have been reprogrammed to allow for generous open plan living. A series of internal voids were used to promote social connection across and between floors, while introducing new light into the depths of the home.
Fritz Carpentry & Contracting, LLCDesigned and styled by Brand*Eye Home, this bathroom renovation was built to fit the style of the homeowner’s mid-century gem. Featuring cement tile floors and a variety of colors and textures, Fritz Carpentry & Contracting completed the look with a sleek floating vanity out of walnut.
