We took this dated Master Bathroom and leveraged its size to create a spa like space and experience. The expansive space features a large vanity with storage cabinets that feature SOLLiD Value Series – Tahoe Ash cabinets, Fairmont Designs Apron sinks, granite countertops and Tahoe Ash matching mirror frames for a modern rustic feel. The design is completed with Jeffrey Alexander by Hardware Resources Durham cabinet pulls that are a perfect touch to the design. We removed the glass block snail shower and the large tub deck and replaced them with a large walk-in shower and stand-alone bathtub to maximize the size and feel of the space. The floor tile is travertine and the shower is a mix of travertine and marble. The water closet is accented with Stikwood Reclaimed Weathered Wood to bring a little character to a usually neglected spot!

This option for the guest bathroom features a harmonious beige honed limestone finish which tiles the floor, wall, and shower. The warm palette of the stone is complimented by custom cabinetry made from rift white oak with a polished quartzite countertop. The even glow of light emanating from the wall sconces made from brushed metal and onyx creates a subtle contrast through the beautiful natural veining of the stone that shines through its elegant, architectural form. The satin gold finish of the hardware throughout the bathroom and cabinetry creates chic highlights within these warm tones.

The designer was going for a soft, comfortable, but elegant coastal home look ... and she got it just right in this master bathroom. The free standing tub is framed by the striking split face stack stone travertine wall - absolutely gorgeous. Behind the stacked wall is a walk-in shower with lots of room and sunlight. The sun coming in actually warms the floor. We have Ivory travertine floors for the bathroom and shower walls and a 4 x 4 travertine for the shower floor. The bathroom vanity tops are a polished seashell limestone, a natural seashell limestone, made with Shell Reef. The same limestone is on the bench tops. What a great job of pulling all these details together.

This farmhouse with workers cottage is set on acreage with its own lake and rolling hills. This house went through a major renovation expanding the living space and, incorporating and modernising the workers cottage to be part of the main house, and creating a dedicated art studio at the back of the property. RJP Design and Décor was engaged to assist the clients with refining the new floor plan, re-designing the kitchen and ensuite, as well as selecting of all colours, fixtures, finishings and soft furnishings to reflect a modern take on the traditional English farmhouse style. Celebrating the unique history of the home, RJP Design and Décor worked with the client to enhance or replicate existing features, create a soft harmonising, neutral colour palette to compliment the landscape and capture the beautiful views of the land.

For this master bathroom remodel, we were tasked to blend in some of the existing finishes of the home to make it modern and desert-inspired. We found this one-of-a-kind marble mosaic that would blend all of the warmer tones with the cooler tones and provide a focal point to the space. We filled in the drop-in bath tub and made it a seamless walk-in shower with a linear drain. The brass plumbing fixtures play off of the warm tile selections and the black bath accessories anchor the space. We were able to match their existing travertine flooring and finish it off with a simple, stacked subway tile on the two adjacent shower walls. We smoothed all of the drywall throughout and made simple changes to the vanity like swapping out the cabinet hardware, faucets and light fixture, for a totally custom feel. The walnut cabinet hardware provides another layer of texture to the space.

This master bathroom once had a soaking tub and dated alcove shower with thick frame. The objective was to give this bathroom a modern upgraded look. The soaking tub was removed and the walk in shower was reconstructed to make a large walk in. With all this spacious room available, a bench was also added. Also tile was installed all along the wall and up to the ceiling. New decorative mirrors and lighting was added as well completed the new look for this now spacious and relaxing bathroom. www.choosechi.com LIC: 944782 Photos by: Preview First.
