The original bathroom in this Toronto home consisted of both a small shower and a large corner bath. And although the number of windows with southern and western exposure added considerable light to the space, it contributed to limitations with placement of the double vanity. Dave and Jenni decided to add a larger double vanity with an adjacent infrared built in sauna, along with a stand up shower. The style of the bathroom was to be kept clean and simple and tile on the majority of wall surfaces achieved this requirement. The most notable feature of the bathroom is the built-in shelving above the sauna, which was created to avoid a large obtrusive flat surface above it, and instead add space for ornamentation and towels.

This family vacation home sadly burned to the ground in the recent Northern California 2017 fires. Years of remodeling and decorating had just been completed, photographed a few months ago. All four generations so enjoyed get aways to this Napa retreat which centered on nature, relaxing and family. Lots of fun curvy shaped upholstery, color and art flowed with the wonderful chaos of lots of families being together.
When I spoke to them on the phone, they were still in shock but said they planned to rebuilt and wanted me to be part of it.

We updated this full bathroom with elegant materials and fun textures for a unique look. Textured gray ceramic tile adds dimension to the shower walls. For the shower wall accent, and for the bathroom floors, we used a stunning multi color marble pebble mosaic tile. Light blue walls, white bead board and an all-white vanity add a modern vibe to this beachy bathroom.

Spacious is the first thing that comes to mind when looking at this beautiful Master Bathroom. Our clients blessed us with an expansive open space to let our designer's do what they do best. And they knocked it out of the park.
The long floating bench in the shower allows for ample seating area while not stealing walking space from the shower floor. A custom built niche adorns the back of the shower allowing for a gigantic storage space to prevent cluttering the seat and floor. We installed a beautiful waterfall edge on the make-up station countertop a with coordinating material to the main vanity top. The decorative glass accent in the shower is mirrored in the vanity backsplash creating an elegant continuity throughout the room. Not visible, is the heated floor that keeps the customers warm and comfortable through the cold winter months. A final added detail is the exhaust fan in the water closet that has a built in bluetooth speaker. Perfect for enjoying soothing sounds while enjoying the spa experience.

Et, en face de la cuisine, des WC séparés et une petite salle d'eau dans laquelle avons réussi à y placer la machine à laver !

The vanity, the tub, and the fireplace are all existing features. We added new colors and materials for an updated and upgraded look. Now the focus is where is should be - the view! What a great spot to unwind and relax.
