Haven Design and ConstructionThis elegant bathroom belongs to the client's preteen daughter. Complete with a sit down make up vanity, this bathroom features it all. Ample cabinet storage and expansive mirrors make this bathroom feel larger since this basement bathroom does not have an exterior window. The color scheme was pulled from the beautiful marble mosaic shower tile and the porcelain floor tile is heated for chilly winter mornings.

Aspen Leaf InteriorsFor this ski-in, ski-out mountainside property, the intent was to create an architectural masterpiece that was simple, sophisticated, timeless and unique all at the same time. The clients wanted to express their love for Japanese-American craftsmanship, so we incorporated some hints of that motif into the designs.
The highlight of the master bathroom is the mosaic wall tile, a polished onyx and marble design of peaceful floating lily pads, symbolic of nature’s restorative properties. Unique copper fixtures warm up the space while chromatically integrating with the home’s walnut woods, with the walnut cabinetry and open shelving, and nicely complement the dual-finish mocha tub and the black quartzite shower slab. The slab is book matched, creating a stunning effect. Flooring and sinks in matching limestone, curved vanity mirrors and onyx with bronze sconces complete the contemporary design. Functional additions include towel warmers, fog-free shaving shower mirror, steam shower and heated floors.
Studio JM Design CoThis primary bath felt a little snug, so what we did was put this white picket tile on the surround of the shower and added a touch pattern to keep more interesting to the eye. This double vanity looked great as well as it had a teak look to it while the black fixtures tied it together.
Haile Kitchen & Bath LLCThis striking Gainesville bathroom design includes unique features like a mosaic tile shower with matching framed mirror and metallic pendants that create a bright, one-of-a-kind space. Aspect Cabinetry Lancaster maple cabinets in Tundra are accented by Top Knobs hardware, a Kohler white vessel sink with a Riobel Eiffel Collection wall-mount faucet, and a gray engineered quartz countertop. The vanity area is completed with a large framed mirror that matches the shower tile and Uttermost Millie mini pendants, which add sparkle to the design. The stunning shower is tiled in Dune Kanna colorful mosaic tile with Dune Krypton mirrored glass mosaic tile floor and includes a recessed storage niche with glass shelves.

What’s the next best thing to a tropical vacation in the middle of a Chicago winter? Well, how about a tropical themed bath that works year round? The goal of this bath was just that, to bring some fun, whimsy and tropical vibes!
We started out by making some updates to the built in bookcase leading into the bath. It got an easy update by removing all the stained trim and creating a simple arched opening with a few floating shelves for a much cleaner and up-to-date look. We love the simplicity of this arch in the space.
Now, into the bathroom design. Our client fell in love with this beautiful handmade tile featuring tropical birds and flowers and featuring bright, vibrant colors. We played off the tile to come up with the pallet for the rest of the space. The cabinetry and trim is a custom teal-blue paint that perfectly picks up on the blue in the tile. The gold hardware, lighting and mirror also coordinate with the colors in the tile.
Because the house is a 1930’s tudor, we played homage to that by using a simple black and white hex pattern on the floor and retro style hardware that keep the whole space feeling vintage appropriate. We chose a wall mount unpolished brass hardware faucet which almost gives the feel of a tropical fountain. It just works. The arched mirror continues the arch theme from the bookcase.
For the shower, we chose a coordinating antique white tile with the same tropical tile featured in a shampoo niche where we carefully worked to get a little bird almost standing on the niche itself. We carried the gold fixtures into the shower, and instead of a shower door, the shower features a simple hinged glass panel that is easy to clean and allows for easy access to the shower controls.

Bristol Design and Construction LLCThe controls for each shower head are conveniently located in the dry zone. The custom teak bench helps transitions from bathing to drying or can be pulled under the showerheads for a relaxing spa experience. The niche on the inner side of the column keeps soaps and shampoos out of sight, but easily accessible.

Out with the travertine and white tile countertops, in with white, light greys and blues, complimented by beautiful bamboo wood tones. Stainless steel fixtures, frameless glass enclosure, and a crystal chandelier reflect light around the room.
