We removed most of the walls in the existing house and create a bridge to the addition over the detached garage. We created an very open floor plan which is industrial and cozy. Both bathrooms and the first floor have cement floors with a specialty stain, and a radiant heat system. We installed a custom kitchen, custom barn doors, custom furniture, all new windows and exterior doors. We loved the rawness of the beams and added corrugated tin in a few areas to the ceiling. We applied American Clay to many walls, and installed metal stairs. This was a fun project and we had a blast!

Gil Mill Custom HomesIn the bathroom, we used reclaimed teak to build a matching mirror and vanity set with polished chrome hardware, and an over-mount, drop in sink on a carrara marble countertop. We created a walk-in shower with a poured cement curb, a high end glass enclosure with barn door style rolling glass sliding door with polished chrome hardware. We used green semi-transparent glass subway tiles to create depth and energy. The drop down vanity pendant lamp is also polished chrome. The crown mouldings, wainscotting and cap, and the base mouldings create a clean finished look while breaking up the lines and planes in the room. The floor is poured concrete and the shower floor is cararra marble to match the countertop of the vanity. The shelves in the shower are teak, for water resistance and to match the vanity and mirror.

Featuring rift cut oak cabinetry, chef grade appliances, and high end cabinetry, this downtown loft offers a sophisticated and high end atmosphere. Exposed ductwork in the living room ceilings and concrete posts create an industrial look.
Makings of Fine Kitchens & BathroomsThis all white bathroom oozes sophistication and elegance with lots of natural light flowing in. Timber look tiles complements nicely with the white in the bathroom. Brodware products have been unsed in this traditional bathroom with lovely bevelled mirrors and traditional lighting.
Hammer Design Build RemodelLarge contemporary design master bathroom suite with private water closet, large walk-in shower, freestanding tub and two vanity sinks. Concrete textured tile was used to create additional texture at the walls and large floor to ceiling windows provided an amazing view from the tub to the rear of the home’s property. A mix of natural stone and porcelain and glass tile was used, as well as Amish built custom cabinets for the vanity and storage.
