Made by PatchiFor this bathroom renovation, the first thing we needed to address was it’s functionally. The layout needed some major changes in order to consolidate all three separate closet spaces into one main walk-in closet. I believe that the flow of a room can really increase its usability and it’s the most important part of any design project. By shifting the closets around, we were also able to double the size of the shower. With all that extra shower space, we designed a walk-in shower that features a beautiful and bold free-standing tub. I am obsessing over this design element. The shower combination is definitely my favorite part of this project.

The wonderful transformation was made in this family bathroom, with a reconfigured floor plan. Now boasting both a freestanding bath and luxurious walk-in shower. This client was looking to make the most of their bathroom space, so they turned to OakWood to work our design & build magic.
The first thing that we did was increase the size of the bathroom by pushing the shower into the back bedroom, allowing for a few extra inches of space.
The use of a floating vanity was another design choice that we made to save on space. Since floating vanities are raised from the floor, you’ll be able to see light bouncing off the bathroom floor with this option. This sense of openness (and light transmission) helps give the illusion of more space.
Another design choice that was made to give the impression of a larger space was the use of a glass shower door. One of the main reasons that homeowners decide on clear glass shower doors is that they want to have an open and modern design. With clear glass, your whole bathroom will look larger, no matter how small the space.
To top it off, we added safety measures to the shower, including a grab bar and a low-profile shower base to ensure that this bathroom meets their needs for today – and for the future!

Il s'agissait initialement d'un plateau traversant, très encombré, dans un immeuble de type canut. nous avons décidé avec la propriétaire de diviser ce lot en 2, afin d'optimiser la rentabilité de son investissement et créer deux T1 bis en duplex.
Une mezzanine ouverte sur le séjour à entièrement été créée pour le coin nuit. En dessous, se trouve la salle d'eau et le petit coin cuisine optimisé.
Afin de révéler le charme de cette architecture atypique, nous avons fait le choix de maximiser la hauteur sous plafond et de décoffrer un mur de pierre dans la pièce de vie. Nous avons également conservé les tomettes au sol qui apportent le caractère de ce petit nid.
Made by PatchiThis year might just be the year of the bathrooms. Since January, I have been working on six different bathroom projects. They range from full to partial renovation projects. I recently finished the design plans for the three bathrooms at the #themanchesterflip. I have also worked on a very cool master bathroom design project that has been approved and the work is scheduled to start by March. And then, there were the two fulls baths from #clientkoko that are now completed. Today I am happy to share the first one of them.

Ameo ConceptPour cette rénovation partielle, l’intention était d’insuffler un élan de modernité aux espaces cuisine et salle d’eau.
Tout d’abord, ouvrir visuellement la cuisine sur l’espace de vie fut une prérogative du projet, tout en optimisant au maximum les rangements. La séparation des volumes s’est vue réalisée par deux verrières en serrurerie sur mesure, tandis que les agencements fonctionnels se parent de teintes douces, entre blanc et vert de gris.
La salle d’eau, quant à elle, arbore des tonalités franches, constituant ainsi un espace de caractère. Les formes graphiques se mêlent au contraste du orange et d’une robinetterie canon de fusil, tout en panache !
