Jennifer Smith DesignThis bathroom remodel started with a functional floor plan, but all of the finishes needed to be updated. My clients wanted natural, honest materials that reflect their values. We started with a custom vanity with lots of drawers customized for the various products the couple uses regularly. We selected a charcoal hexagon floor tile and hand made subway tile shower with pencil trim and glass walls. The stylish soaking tub and floor tub filler are a beautiful place to unwind at the end of the day!

The crystal and chrome sconces set the stage for the beauty to be appreciated in this spa-like space. The soft green walls complements the green veining in the marble backsplash, and is subtle with the quartz countertop.

Joni Spear Interior DesignMaintaining the clients’ wishes to avoid any construction, we opted for simple swap outs in the primary bathroom. The walls are painted “Pale Powder” by Farrow & Ball. The existing dull pendant fixture was replaced with the “Paris Flea Market Chandelier” from Visual Comfort.
New faucets, towel hooks and accessories from Newport Brass carry the room’s tasteful sense of French seduction. Big box store oval mirrors, were replaced with elegant gold-leafed, graciously framed models that accentuate the Cross Bouillotte sconces.
The oversized art’s figural representations have a luxurious textural finish in hand-applied gold leaf to complement the adjacent mirrors.
