One of our happiest projects to date, the Rainbow Tile Bathroom! The homeowner designed this rainbow tile bathroom using Fireclay Tile to update the main bathroom in their vintage Portland home. As we took the bathroom down to its bare bones, it was cool to see just how many hands had worked in that space over the past 110 years. I'm proud to give this space new life that still honors the original character of the home.

This bathroom serves as both the bathroom for three bedrooms, but also as the main guest bathroom for the house. The homeowners wanted the bathroom to have a modern, cheery, and playful personality so brightly colored ceramic tiles in modern patterns were used for the shower surround and flooring. White walls, cabinets, and counters make the colors pop.

The beautiful emerald tile really makes this remodel pop! For this project, we started with a new deep soaking tub, shower niche, and Latricrete Hydro-Ban waterproofing. The finishes included emerald green subway tile, Kohler Brass fixtures, and a Kohler sliding shower door. We finished up with a few final touches to the mirror, lighting, and towel rods.

A hint of purple does the trick in this modern bathroom. Designer Rae Rockwell used a combination of Glazed Thin Brick in Sedona in the shower and 6” Hexagon Tile in Evening Glow across the floor to subtly infuse this space with the allure of a desert sunset. A second story addition much needed for a growing family. These clients needed a master bedroom, another guest bedroom, more storage, another full bathroom, & a space for their family to enjoy each other's company. We achieved all this with a second story addition over their existing garage!
