With inspiration of a "small village" home, this project brings in dwellings of different size and shape that support and intertwine with one another. Featuring a sculpted, concrete geological wall, pleated butterfly roof, and rainwater installations, House 7 exemplifies an interconnectedness and energetic relationship between home and the natural elements. The Jack and Jill bathroom received the most extensive remodel transformation. We first selected a graphic floor tile by Arizona Tile in the design process, and then the bathroom vanity color Artichoke by Sherwin-Williams (SW #6179) correlated to the tile. Our client proposed installing a stained tongue and groove behind the vanity. Now the gold decorative mirror pops off the textured wall.
