We transformed this dull, inner-city bathroom into a modern, atmospheric
sanctuary for our male client.
We combined a mix of metallic bronze tiling, contemporary fixtures and bespoke,
concrete-grey Venetian plaster for an industrial-luxe aesthetic.
Down-lit niches and understated decorative elements add a sense of softness and
calm to the space.

MAKING THE WORLD BEAUTIFUL
For this beautiful bathroom, we have used water-proof tadelakt plaster to cover walls and floor and combined a few square meters of exclusive handmade lava tiles that we brought all the way from Morocco. All colours blend in to create a warm and cosy atmosphere for the relaxing shower time.

Challenging space including a toilet placed right in front of two large corner windows... because who doesn't want to sit on their toilet and wave to their neighbors? Yah, we pass on that and move the toilet plumbing and created a new space plan that was more functional and better utilized the available footprint.
Two great clients who knew this was a job for experts but also had a great eye for contemporary design, which can be both modern and classic all at once.
We hit that sweet spot on this one. A master bathroom with a very small foot print now appears much larger, way more stylish and is definitely more functional. Corner window toilet... you will not be missed.

Chi Renovation & Design
This bathroom renovation kept the vintage ambiance while incorporating a few contemporary finishes. We replaced the pedestal sink with a contemporary square, wall mounted sink & faucet, repainted the radiator in a glamorous silver color, installed octagon-designed floor tiles, new subway tile, designed a sleek medicine cabinet, and installed two shower shelves that were safe and out of reach from the client’s children.
Home located in Edgewater, Chicago. Designed by Chi Renovation & Design who serve Chicago and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. You'll find their work from the Loop through Lincoln Park, Skokie, Wilmette, and all of the way up to Lake Forest.

Floating vanities are an and powder rooms because they take up less floor space and contribute less visual clutter than traditional cabinet units.

The layout of the ensuite has been reversed, so that the shower space is now a more luxurious size, and the toilet is tucked discreetly away around the corner.
Flooret
Influenced by classic Nordic design. Surprisingly flexible with furnishings. Amplify by continuing the clean modern aesthetic, or punctuate with statement pieces. With the Modin Collection, we have raised the bar on luxury vinyl plank. The result is a new standard in resilient flooring. Modin offers true embossed in register texture, a low sheen level, a rigid SPC core, an industry-leading wear layer, and so much more.

We selected a floating vanity for the lower level bathroom with ample storage or organization for the clients items. The vanity was designed with outlets so that tools can be plugged in and ready to use without resting on the countertop. The floating vanity allows the bathroom to feel larger and the electric mirror creates a hospitality feel for guests.
