Studio Z ArchitectureWe removed an unused soaking tub to provide space for a sit-down makeup area and additional storage. The existing windows above the makeup area provide lots of daylight. The paint is Benjamin Moore gossamer blue 2123-40.
Hercules Design BuildOur clients wanted an upgraded, more spacious master suite. They leaned towards a mid-century modern look with a vaulted ceiling and lots of natural light. Skylights over the bathroom vanity were on their “must-have” list as well. We gave them a new bathroom with a much larger double vanity and expanded shower, and we continued the modern theme with the finishes.

Amiano & Son Construction, LLCThis bathroom is open and spacious with high ceilings and even a sky light. Because this space is so open, we incorporated cabinetry throughout to add additional storage in the space. The shower is spacious and relaxing with 12" x 24" large tiles at a 50/50 pattern and a tiled pan shower flooring.
Touchstone Kitchen and BathThis master bathroom was plain and boring, but was full of potential when we began this renovation. With a vaulted ceiling and plenty of room, this space was ready for a complete transformation. The wood accent wall ties in beautifully with the exposed wooden beams across the ceiling. The chandelier and more modern elements like the tilework and soaking tub balance the rustic aspects of this design to keep it cozy but elegant.
GSB DesignsTotal renovation of an existing ensuite bath. Soaking tub was replaced with a freestanding tub situated in-between two windows for a relaxing soak! The wonderful finishes and tile details at the glass enclosed shower tie the space together beautifully.
Bay Area KitchensThe freestanding bubble jet bathtub which features a remote air turbine, water warming system and back warmer is controlled by an iPhone and wall-mounted controller. No wires or pipes are visible going into the tub - all of that comes up through the bottom of the tub; fully concealed. The turbine is concealed inside the cabinet above the toilet, so all you hear while in the tub are the bubbles!
The open (door-less) shower features a rain head, hand shower and wall-mounted shower head.

H2D Architecture + DesignThis small bathroom features light colors to help the space feel larger, and features a herringbone pattern darker floor tile to add interest to the space.
McCabe By Design LLCUpon entering the primary bath (and closet), one's attention is immediately brought to the tumbled beach glass tile deco band in the shower. There are two more bands in the shower, each of which are visible from looking into the vanity mirrors.
The linen cabinet and make-up vanity provide ample storage for the master bath. The linen close has a concealed outlet for charging personal grooming products, keeping counters clutter free.
Not pictured is the fact that the grout line in the floor tile run straight across the shower pan and up the wall tile.

Customised vanity unit reimagined a piece of furniture to
Jan Neiges, CMKBD with NKBAThis bathroom had a sloped ceiling towards the closet. The closet area, right of the vanity was too deep, Clients' clothes just got lost in there. The doors when opened cramped the space. The window above the tub did not open, tile in the tub/shower had to be replaced. I selected a mosaic tile to be installed up to the ceiling above the vanity to provide drama. To save my Client money from needing more of this expensive mosaic, I added a wood panel right of the vanity and made sure the panel trim aligned with the height of the vanity to continue the visual line of the vanity. I replaced the closet door with fabric that was installed from the high ceiling and used the same fabric for the shower curtains.
K Squared Builders - Dale KramerThe previous bathroom had an awkward linen closet that jutted into the room. We removed the closet, extended the vanity, added a linen cabinet, replaced the drop-in tub with a wonderful freestanding, and replaced the old premade shower with gorgeous pebble and porcelain tile.
AJ Margulis InteriorsThis master bath was designed to modernize a 90's house. The client's wanted clean, fresh and simple. We designed a custom vanity to maximize storage and installed RH medicine cabinets. The clients did not want to break the bank on this renovation so we maximized the look with a marble inlay in the floor, pattern details on the shower walls and a gorgeous window treatment.

Choosing all white elements will obviously tie everything together, but also think about the style you’re going for – ultra modern taps will clash with traditional Victorian-style wash basins.
