Braitman Design StudioThis well-fitted shower includes a convenient corner bench, multi-function shower head, two body sprays, and a recessed niche with separate shelving for soap and bottles. An L-shaped end wall allows for views of the window, while also helping the narrow room to feel more porous.
We used large format (12” x 24”) porcelain tile as the room’s backsplash and in the shower. The shade of green/teal coordinates well with the tint of the glass countertop.
On a more subtle note, the slate blue and grey veining used in the grout between tiles ties in with the room’s custom grey-stained cabinetry.
Melton Design BuildThis bathroom offers space and flexibility. The bathroom is separated into two parts and offers double sinks. The backsplash continues up the wall in a glass turquoise color and purple accents are used to complement the room. Additionally, the wood cabinits create continunity since they are seen in separate places around the house.

Pu'uwai Design & ConstructionThis beautiful his and hers indoor outdoor master bathroom opens to double outdoor showers surrounded by a tropical garden and framed by an Indonesian fountain pouring water into the stones below. The expansive custom vanity cabinets are made from tropical hardwood creating copious amounts of bathroom storage and the glass tile back splash mirrors the outdoor gardens with a green bamboo motif.
Nautilus HomesThis master bathroom is elegant and rich. The materials used are all premium materials yet they are not boastful, creating a true old world quality. The sea-foam colored hand made and glazed wall tiles are meticulously placed to create straight lines despite the abnormal shapes. The Restoration Hardware sconces and orb chandelier both complement and contrast the traditional style of the furniture vanity, Rohl plumbing fixtures and claw foot tub.
Design solutions include selecting mosaic hexagonal Calcutta gold floor tile as the perfect complement to the horizontal and linear look of the wall tile. As well, the crown molding is set at the elevation of the shower soffit and top of the window casing (not seen here) to provide a purposeful termination of the tile. Notice the full tiles at the top and bottom of the wall, small details such as this are what really brings the architect's intention to full expression with our projects.
