This bathroom was a complete gut from the 70's. We kept the floor plan but gave every inch a complete facelift.

The waterfall effect works well between the hexagonal tiles, and to add even more interest and dimension to the design, the grey tiles were infused into the white incorporating yet another design element.

Designer: Kristie Schneider CKBR, UDCP Photographer: Nathan Lewis Contrasting hexagonal black and white tile at the floor was considered with a thoughtful pattern. The 3 x 6 subway ceramic tile at the shower walls, wainscoting and decorative black liners allowed for a timeless rhythmic feel that can easily be recognized from the early century era. Equally, echoing small details like a black toilet seat, black painted window sashes, glass cabinet and door knobs all transformed this bathroom into a near replica of the original space.

With dark veining and gently recessed paneling, this Dura Supreme Vanity was a great fit for the project. Complimenting the dark black trim of the tiling on the backsplash, the vanity ties in seamlessly into the space. Additionally, with the vanity's soft Calacatta Laze Marble countertop, its soft gray veining provides a medium within the palette of the space, creating uniformity within the contrast of the white and black space.
