This was an ensuite where the homeowners wanted to create a retreat for themselves. With a steam shower being a key element and a vanity that the homeowner fell in love with, the design began. Finishing with a very unique tile design this space became one of a kind.

Glass vessel sink on top of the glass of the countertop creates a very unique, modern feel, and allows the shadow of the sink pattern to show through onto the floor below.

This bathroom is truly unique and very playful. The vanity has a 2 inch thick stain glass top that is illuminated by a lighting system that can actually change to any color you want to program it. The mirror has many circles to again give you a feeling of playfulness. The cabinets are a modern shiny white pillow door creating a modern look. The bathroom shower is made from slabs of white marble. Not only does this look absolutely beautiful but is also is so easy to clean- no grout. The floor is made of white pebbles and which adds to the sleekness of the room.

We included an end grab-bar which provides extra stability for tasks such as washing feet or shaving legs. For the shower pan, we used a solid surface material. The multi-function shower head and body sprays can be seen from a different angle in this picture.

A former client came to us to renovate her cramped master bathroom into a serene, spa-like setting. Armed with an inspiration photo from a magazine, we set out and commissioned a local, custom furniture maker to produce the cabinetry. The hand-distressed reclaimed wormy chestnut vanities and linen closet bring warmth to the space while the painted shiplap and white glass countertops brighten it up. Handmade subway tiles welcome you into the bright shower and wood-look porcelain tile offers a practical flooring solution that still softens the space. It’s not hard to imagine yourself soaking in the deep freestanding tub letting your troubles melt away. Matt Villano Photography
