Middleton Maple Medallion cabinetry in Frappe finish with soft close doors and dovetail construction are topped off with beautiful Brunello Quartz that have a soft veining pattern and look like marble. The decision to install 2 vanity top towers allowed for more storage solutions and created a vertical component that added balance to the room. Check out the before images of this part of bathroom our website, there used to be a linen closet on this wall.
The shower is luxurious with its Delta fixtures, 4 body sprays, hand shower and shower trim at the entrance for easy access to turning on the water. The hex patterned tile above the niche is a nice design element that draws the eye upward and in line with the mirrors installed on the opposite wall. A linear drain with tile insert, allows for drainage without the traditional look of a drain.
Serpentino Blanco Porcelain tiles throughout, add an element of texture with it's fluid soft veining pattern. The flooring isn't just beautiful, it's been upgraded. Heated floors throughout will provide warmth to the feet during cold days and our clients can even program the thermostat according to their bathing schedule.
Last but not least is the 60" free standing tub. It's tub filler and hand-shower make it the perfect place to soak and relax after a long day.

We designed a custom vanity to maximize storage and installed RH medicine cabinets. The clients did not want to break the bank on this renovation so we maximized the look with a marble inlay in the floor, pattern details on the shower walls and a gorgeous window treatment.

David Lund DesignA small master bathroom the size of a modest closet was our starting point. Dirty tile, old fixtures, and a moldy shower room had seen their better days. So we gutted the bathroom, changed its location, and borrowed some space from the neighboring closet to compose a new master bathroom that was sleek and efficient.
Still a compact space, the new master bathroom features a unique, curbless tub/shower room, where both the shower and tub are grouped behind a simple glass panel. With no separation between tub and shower, both items are not only designed to get wet but to allow the user to go from shower to tub and back again.

Upon moving to Glen Ellyn, the homeowners were eager to infuse their new residence with a style that resonated with their modern aesthetic sensibilities. The primary bathroom, while spacious and structurally impressive with its dramatic high ceilings, presented a dated, overly traditional appearance that clashed with their vision.

To highlight the vaulted ceiling, we extended the shower tile to the ceiling and added a skylight to bathe the area in natural light.
Sourced unique marble with raw, chiseled edges that provide a tactile, earthy element.
Our custom-designed cabinetry in a minimal, modern style features a natural finish, complementing the organic theme.
A truly creative layered lighting strategy dials in the perfect Zen-like atmosphere. The wavy protruding wall tile lights triggered our inspiration but came with an unintended harsh direct-light effect so we sourced a solution: bespoke diffusers measured and cut for the top and bottom of each tile light gap.

Our collaborative effort brought this vision to life, creating a bathroom that not only meets the clients’ functional needs but also serves as a daily sanctuary. Pretty DomesticatedThe now dated 90s bath Katie spent her childhood splashing in underwent a full-scale renovation under her direction. The goal: Bring it down to the studs and make it new, without wiping away its roots. Details and materials were carefully selected to capitalize on the room’s architecture and to embrace the home’s traditional form. The result is a bathroom that feels like it should have been there from the start. Featured on HAVEN and in Rue Magazine Spring 2022.

Exposed wood beams are a beautiful contrast to the light blue, white & gray color scheme. Bathroom floor features decorative inlay using polished pinwheel tiles and gray marble trim.
