GALUCHATScandinavian bathrooms are usually ridiculously small and this is no exception! A family of four uses this tiny space, for their ablutions as well as laundry... It was screaming for a makeover (see the before pictures!), to use the space in a practical way but also create a welcoming room to use and spend some me-time in... We redesigned the space entirely, creating a large walk-in shower with frosted partition and wall-recessed pin lights for a cozy lighting option, custom vanity to house storage and washing machine, recessed bin, as well as tall medicine cabinets to cater to everyone's essentials... A distressed, painted wood effect tile on the floor and a whimsical colourful glass mosaic accent added fun and joy to the thankfully bright, though compact room.
Meredith LeePink, aqua and purple are colours they both love, and had already been incorporated into their existing decor, so we used those colours as the starting point and went from there.
In the bathroom, the Victorian walls are high and the natural light levels low. The many small rooms were demolished and one larger open plan space created. The pink terrazzo tiling unites the room and makes the bathroom space feel more inviting and less cavernous. ‘Fins’ are used to define the functional spaces (toilet, laundry, vanity, shower). They also provide an architectural detail to tie in the Victorian window and ceiling heights with the 80s extension that is just a step outside the bathroom.
LDR GroupA small bathroom, but the clients wanted two sinks. They did not use them at the same time, so a custom corner vanity with vessel sinks and operating upper and lower drawers made for a highly functional space.

To save space, we hid a heating system (like underfloor heating) inside the wall behind the tiles, so the towels are always warm!). A distressed, painted wood effect tile on the floor and a whimsical colourful glass mosaic accent added fun and joy to the thankfully bright, though compact room.
Phoenix Home RemodelingElisa wanted to remodel her outdated master bathroom and wanted our expertise on how to enhance the shower's functionality.
She is planning to live in the home for a long time so looking to refresh the master bathroom area and add new function. Our team worked along with her to reach her remodeling goals.
We were asked to keep the same layout but build a new custom shower with a new shower wall using HexArt Deco Turquoise 8" Hexagon Tile on the back wall in a starburst pattern. She chose Reine 3" x 12" Picket Matte Ceramic Wall Tile on the other 2 walls in a vertical pattern, and new flooring using Penny White tile.
The new shower also includes a Delta Trinsic Champagne Bronze Shower System and a new frameless glass enclosure. A new Wyndham Collection Beckett 84" Free Standing Double Basin Vanity Set with Cabinet and quartz Vanity Top.
The 2 new Kohler Vox Rectangle Vessel Sinks add elegance and the 2 new round mirrors along with the 2 Light Faceted Sconces from West Elm make the room brighter.
We are delighted with the final outcome and it's our pleasure to know she is enjoying her new master bathroom.
