Metamorphosis Studios, LLcThis bathroom, was the result of removing a center wall, two closets, two bathrooms, and reconfiguring part of a guest bedroom space to accommodate, a new powder room, a home office, one larger closet, and one very nice sized bathroom with a skylight and a wet room. The skylight adds so much ambiance and light to a windowless room. I love the way it illuminates this space, even at night the moonlight flows in.... I placed these fun little pendants in a dancing pose for a bit of whimsy and to echo the playfulness of the sink. We went with a herringbone tile on the walls and a modern leaf mosaic on the floor.
J.P. Hoffman Design BuildLocated right off the Primary bedroom – this bathroom is located in the far corners of the house. It should be used as a retreat, to rejuvenate and recharge – exactly what our homeowners asked for. We came alongside our client – listening to the pain points and hearing the need and desire for a functional, calming retreat, a drastic change from the disjointed, previous space with exposed pipes from a previous renovation. We worked very closely through the design and materials selections phase, hand selecting the marble tile on the feature wall, sourcing luxe gold finishes and suggesting creative solutions (like the shower’s linear drain and the hidden niche on the inside of the shower’s knee wall). The Maax Tosca soaker tub is a main feature and our client's #1 request. Add the Toto Nexus bidet toilet and a custom double vanity with a countertop tower for added storage, this luxury retreat is a must for busy, working parents.

Boerne Kitchens and BathsThis 1930's vintage bathroom was converted back to a vintage bathroom after an unfortunate remodel in the 1960s. The custom made hex tile floor and shower floor brought back that 1930's look. 3 X 12 subway tiles for the walls brought it more up to date. Burnished Gold fixtures from Kohler and a Toto Toilet make it very 2020. Sconces provide lighting for the mirror. The vanity was custom built and the top was a cast iron Kohler top with integrated sink.

AshtonForDesign LLCThis basement renovation received a major facelift and now it’s everyone’s favorite spot in the house! There is now a theater room, exercise space, and high-end bathroom with Art Deco tropical details throughout. A custom sectional can turn into a full bed when the ottomans are nestled into the corner, the custom wall of mirrors in the exercise room gives a grand appeal, while the bathroom in itself is a spa retreat.

Assured Accuracy, LLCThis hall bath was the perfect spot to make a fun statement. The new bath features heated flooring, new chandelier, new soaking tub with tile surround and wallpaper. Because the homeowner is a bath lover, they opted to not install a shower here, but instead use the space to create a fun, spa-like feel.

An awkwardly placed jetted tub is replaced with a walk in shower and tiled in Blue Carrara Marble. The custom designed marble vanity complements the formality and charm of the home. Aged mirrored sconces , a gracefully shaped mirror and luxurious Polished Nickel plumbing fixtures add to the old-fashioned inviting elegance.

Christian ConstructionIt was a fun remodel. We started with a blank canvas and went through several designs until the homeowner decided. We all agreed, it was the perfect design. We removed the old shower and gave the owner a spa-like seating area.
We installed a Steamer in the shower, with a marble slab bench seat. We installed a Newport shower valve with a handheld sprayer. Four small LED lights surrounding a 24" Rain-Shower in the ceiling. We installed two top-mounted sink-bowls, with wall-mounted faucets.
Finesse Design RemodelingThis award-winning whole house renovation of a circa 1875 single family home in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington DC provides the client with an open and more functional layout without requiring an addition. After major structural repairs and creating one uniform floor level and ceiling height, we were able to make a truly open concept main living level, achieving the main goal of the client. The large kitchen was designed for two busy home cooks who like to entertain, complete with a built-in mud bench. The water heater and air handler are hidden inside full height cabinetry. A new gas fireplace clad with reclaimed vintage bricks graces the dining room. A new hand-built staircase harkens to the home's historic past. The laundry was relocated to the second floor vestibule. The three upstairs bathrooms were fully updated as well. Final touches include new hardwood floor and color scheme throughout the home.
