Reclaimed ‘Dalle de Bourgogne’ pavers by Architectural Stone Decor. www.archstonedecor.ca | sales@archstonedecor.ca | (437) 800-8300 The ancient Dalle de Bourgogne stone pavers have been reclaimed from different locations across the Mediterranean making them unique in their warm color mixtures and patinas and their exquisite beauty. They have been calibrated to 5/8” in thickness to ease installation of modern use. They come in random sizes and could be installed in either a running bond formation or a random ‘Versailles’ pattern. Their durable nature makes them an excellent choice for indoor and outdoor use. They are unaffected by extreme climate and easily withstand heavy use due to the nature of their hard molecular structure.

Not every bathroom needs to feel weighed down by cabinetry or other functional elements. With a little imagination they can seem to defy gravity. This bathroom uses wall-mounted base cabinets, accent lighting, a ceiling-mounted tub-filler and slim ceiling track for the shower curtain to achieve an expanded feeling. This technique can be used in a spacious master bath or a tiny powder room.

This Master bathroom we call it the fantasy bathroom, with open design let in natural light and intriguing materials create drama. Removed a unwanted fireplace to expand the shower and now the shower is a walk in dream that has 2 fixed shower heads and a hand held for ease in cleaning. This unique lakefront home situated in north western New Jersey is the inspiration of the owner who wanted to create a comfortable and elegant retreat. The goal was to optimize the scenic aspect of the lake front site and improving the design and flow of the living space. It was important to preserve the character of the original rustic lake cabin and retain many of the details unique to homes built in the area in the 1950’s. Modern amenities were incorporated with an emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability.
