These clients wanted to combine a tiny office and a cramped full bath to make a spacious master suite fit for a king. Now, this vast bathroom has traditional and modern elements that create a mood that is tranquil with plenty of natural light.

Renovation of the existing master bath to enhance the quality of the space and the luxurious bathing experience. Removed an existing claustrophobic shower enclosure and incorporated the tub into a luxuriously large shower/wet area. Rather than bathing in a shower or tub cubicle, this combining of spaces into one larger space allows the homeowner to experience the entire room as part of the bathing or shower ritual.

Capital Area Remodeling, LLC
2 time Award winning bathroom in DC. To keep within the style of the house a claw foot tub was installed. Custom molding was used around the tub instead of tile. Custom cabinets were made of medium wood to fit the small space. Vessel sinks were mounted on top. Crystal accents were used through out to add a little shine to the space.

The Olde Mill - Box Beams, Mantels & Shelves
This modern bathroom got a touch of farmhouse flair thanks to a trio of L-shaped floating shelves constructed by The Olde Mill. The clean lines of the shelves perfectly complement the shiplap paneling. The dark espresso stain stands in stark contrast to the monochromatic walls and plays well with the dark tones in the bathroom tiles.

Hulburd Design transformed a 1920s French Provincial-style home to accommodate a family of five with guest quarters. The family frequently entertains and loves to cook. This, along with their extensive modern art collection and Scandinavian aesthetic informed the clean, lively palette.

Last, but not least, we created a master bath oasis for this amazing family to relax in... look at that flooring! The space had an angular shape, so we made the most of the area by creating a spacious walk-in shower with bench seat. The freestanding soaking tub is a focal point and provides hours of relaxation after a long day. The double sink vanity and full wall mirror round out the room and make husband and wife getting ready a breeze.

This quaint home, located in Plano’s prestigious Willow Bend Polo Club, underwent some super fun updates during our renovation and refurnishing project! The clients’ love for bright colors, mid-century modern elements, and bold looks led us to designing a black and white bathroom with black paned glass, colorful hues in the game room and bedrooms, and a sleek new “work from home” space for working in style. The clients love using their new spaces and have decided to let us continue designing these looks throughout additional areas in the home!
