This showpiece in the master bathroom can be seen down the hall leading from the kitchen. Overlooking the backyard and view of the hills, the custom drapery allows for privacy and light control. Photo by Whit Preston.

This master bath is a perfect example of a well balanced space, with his and hers counter spaces just to start. His tall 6'8" stature required a 40 inch counter height creating this multi-level counter space that wraps in along the wall, continuing to the vanity desk. The smooth transition between each level is intended to emulate that of a traditional flow form piece. This gives each of them ample functional space and storage. The warm tones within wood accents and the cooler tones found in the tile work are tied together nicely with the greige stone countertop. In contrast to the barn door and other wood features, matte black hardware is used as a sharp accent. This space successfully blends into a rustic elegance theme.

Rich, strong and invigorating, the rough textured, look and feel of bricks creates in this bathroom. There is nothing quite like the combination of bricks + timber + tiles to create an urban style at best.

The homeowners wanted a simple, clean, modern bathroom. Sounds straightforward enough. But with a tight budget, a funky layout and a requirement not to move any plumbing, it was more of a puzzle than expected. Good thing we like puzzles! We added a wall to separate the bathroom from the master, installed a ‘tub with a view,’ and put in a free-standing vanity and glass shower to provide a sense of openness. The before pictures don’t begin to showcase the craziness that existed at the start, but we’re thrilled with the finish!

Enhancing the family bathroom experience, a generously sized window opens to the garden, complemented by a strategically placed rooflight. This thoughtful combination not only amplifies the infusion of natural light but also creates a cosy ambience, perfect for a relaxing bath time.

Main bathroom renovation with freestanding bath and walk in shower tray. We love the Porcelanosa feature tile & neutral colour palette!

The vision for this older uptown Toronto home, which needed 3 bathrooms renovated, was to create a modern minimal design with luxury items. They included a wall hung toilet, matte black finishes with wood accents, wall niches, globe lighting, and soaker tub for the basement washroom. The upper floors featured open entries to the showers along with thermostatic shower units. All bathrooms were fitted with Nuheat heated floor units with wifi signature thermostats.
