Beautiful transformation of this dull tired Ensuite, now a stunning calm and modern space with added details in the tiles and alcove.
Kitchen Design Concepts
This ensuite bathroom boasts a subtle black, grey, and white palette that lines the two rooms. Faucets, accessories, and shower fixtures are from Kohler's Purist collection in Satin Nickel. The commode, also from Kohler, is a One-Piece from the San Souci collection, making it easy to keep clean. All tile was sourced through our local Renaissance Tile dealer. Asian Statuary marble lines the floors, wall wainscot, and shower. Black honed marble 3x6 tiles create a border on the floor around the space while a 1x2 brick mosaic tops wainscot tile along the walls. The mosaic is also used on the shower floor. In the shower, there is an accented wall created from Venetian Waterjet mosaic with Hudson White and Black Honed material. A clear glass shower entry with brushed nickel clamps and hardware lets you see the design without sacrifice.
K. Rue Designs, LLC
Through a major remodel, the K. Rue Designs team led a fabulous design with results of a timeless look featuring black accents, a freestanding tub, and larger shower. Against a beautiful frosted window with thick white trim and wainscoting wall, a stunning black freestanding tub with wall-mount fixture creates a focal point. Neutral gray chevron wood-look tile offers interest white grounding the space. Light painted walls are complemented with elongated white subway tile throughout the shower and a hint of darker contrasting grout. For ambiance, a dark spherical chandelier adorns above the freestanding statement tub. All white cabinetry spans across the opposite wall with light quartz countertops. Black accents emphasized on the mirror frames, industrial lighting, single handle sink faucets, and cabinetry pulls. A sweet, intricate vanity chair entices this simple, yet sophisticated bathroom.

The rods are also custom created for practical and secure operation, while showing off the beauty of the shades.

We absolutely love this duck egg blue bathroom. The tiles are a real point of difference whilst being neutral enough for most home owners. The floating vanity and toilet really help with how spacious the bathroom feels despite its smaller size. The wooden pendant lights also help with this whist being a fantastic contrast against the tiles. They also tie in the flooring with the rest of the bathroom.

Beautiful Marble enhances this spectacular compact bathroom in a historic home. Unlacquered brass hardware will patina with time and is true to the character of this vintage dwelling.

Extension and refurbishment of a semi-detached house in Hern Hill.
Extensions are modern using modern materials whilst being respectful to the original house and surrounding fabric.
Views to the treetops beyond draw occupants from the entrance, through the house and down to the double height kitchen at garden level.
From the playroom window seat on the upper level, children (and adults) can climb onto a play-net suspended over the dining table.
The mezzanine library structure hangs from the roof apex with steel structure exposed, a place to relax or work with garden views and light. More on this - the built-in library joinery becomes part of the architecture as a storage wall and transforms into a gorgeous place to work looking out to the trees. There is also a sofa under large skylights to chill and read.
The kitchen and dining space has a Z-shaped double height space running through it with a full height pantry storage wall, large window seat and exposed brickwork running from inside to outside. The windows have slim frames and also stack fully for a fully indoor outdoor feel.
A holistic retrofit of the house provides a full thermal upgrade and passive stack ventilation throughout. The floor area of the house was doubled from 115m2 to 230m2 as part of the full house refurbishment and extension project.
A huge master bathroom is achieved with a freestanding bath, double sink, double shower and fantastic views without being overlooked.
The master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe room with its own window.
The children's bathroom is fun with under the sea wallpaper as well as a separate shower and eaves bath tub under the skylight making great use of the eaves space.
The loft extension makes maximum use of the eaves to create two double bedrooms, an additional single eaves guest room / study and the eaves family bathroom.
5 bedrooms upstairs.
