Pedini NWThis home remodel consisted of opening up the kitchen space that was previously closed off from the living and dining areas, installing new flooring throughout the home, and remodeling both bathrooms. The goal was to make the main living space better for entertaining and provide a more functional kitchen for multiple people to be able to cook in at once. The result? Basically a whole new house!

KSDesigns LLCThis modern farmhouse bathroom has an extra large vanity with double sinks to make use of a longer rectangular bathroom. The wall behind the vanity has counter to ceiling Jeffrey Court white subway tiles that tie into the shower. There is a playful mix of metals throughout including the black framed round mirrors from CB2, brass & black sconces with glass globes from Shades of Light , and gold wall-mounted faucets from Phylrich. The countertop is quartz with some gold veining to pull the selections together. The charcoal navy custom vanity has ample storage including a pull-out laundry basket while providing contrast to the quartz countertop and brass hexagon cabinet hardware from CB2. This bathroom has a glass enclosed tub/shower that is tiled to the ceiling. White subway tiles are used on two sides with an accent deco tile wall with larger textured field tiles in a chevron pattern on the back wall. The niche incorporates penny rounds on the back using the same countertop quartz for the shelves with a black Schluter edge detail that pops against the deco tile wall.

RAO Design Studio, Inc.The bathroom is about a sequence of spaces. To the left in this shot is the door to the master bedroom, and to the right is the door to the "hers" walk-in closet. Ahead is the shower for 2 with a built-in bench out of the same quartzite used consistently around the room.
"His" closet is straight ahead and a bank of tall linen cabinets in matching SieMatic sterling gray holds all the linens.
The clients worked closely with both interior designer Gay Dyar Shorr and bath designer Matthew Rao and with their own stone resources locally to pull off a symphony of materiality in a rich but simple way.

The tile in the shower is Moroccan Concrete 12x24 off white for the shower walls; Cultura Pebble Mosaic – Autumn for the shower floor and niches. An LED Trulux light with 3 zone touch plate for the shower ledge was installed. A heated towel bar. A Moen Eva 3 Bulb light in brushed nickel. On the floor is Mannington Swiss Oak-Almond luxury vinyl tile.
