Elements Design and Construction1950s style bathroom with new belgard window that opens from top down for privacy and circulation. also, reclaimed american standard wall mount sink from the 50s. the floor is tiles with black and white hex tiles that we did a art deco pattern is to give a little flare.
mike_bpnaOur guest bath features a shower surround of 3 x 6 carrara tiles set in a subway pattern. The framed beadboard wall treatment is made of PVC so should be perfect for the humid bath environment. The floor is basket weave carrara framed with 3 x 6 carrara tiles.

This was a fast-track design-build project which began design in July and ended construction before Christmas. The scope included additions and first and second floor renovations. The house is an early 1900’s gambrel style with painted wood shingle siding and mission style detailing. On the first and second floor we removed previously constructed awkward additions and extended the gambrel style roof to make room for a large kitchen on the first floor and a master bathroom and bedroom on the second floor. We also added two new dormers to match the existing dormers to bring light into the master shower and new bedroom. We refinished the wood floors, repainted all of the walls and trim, added new vintage style light fixtures, and created a new half and kid’s bath. We also added new millwork features to continue the existing level of detail and texture within the house. A wrap-around covered porch with a corner trellis was also added, which provides a perfect opportunity to enjoy the back-yard. A wonderful project!
The Kitchen and Bath PeopleThis children's hall bathroom needed a total cosmetic makeover after being yellow from top to bottom. New white Shaker cabinets were installed with a white and gray Quarts countertop. The new double sinks are rectangular and are undermounted with polished chrome faucets.
Jordan Design-Build GroupA small hall bathroom got a full makeover with new porcelain floor tile and elongated white subway tile on the walls. A frameless shower glass + integral curtain rod keeps the small space feeling open and bright. We brought a touch of natural warmth to the space with a cherry vanity.
TreHus Architects+Interior Designers+BuildersThe owners of this South Minneapolis home wished to renovate their outdated bath to create a relaxing, therapeutic, master suite. Fixtures were flipped within the room, creating more space and minimizing compartmentalization. Clean 3x6 Subway tiles were paired with dark grout for a crisp feel. The floor, though simple and unembellished, forms a strong contrast against the wall color and dark vanity.
