Align Design LLCThis project was focused on eeking out space for another bathroom for this growing family. The three bedroom, Craftsman bungalow was originally built with only one bathroom, which is typical for the era. The challenge was to find space without compromising the existing storage in the home. It was achieved by claiming the closet areas between two bedrooms, increasing the original 29" depth and expanding into the larger of the two bedrooms. The result was a compact, yet efficient bathroom. Classic finishes are respectful of the vernacular and time period of the home.
ReVision Design/RemodelingDouble vanities with tall towers and a dozen drawers provide ample storage space. The grey quartz counters and white vanities coordinate perfectly with the marble patterned floor tile. Astro Design CentreThe design was inspired by natural elements, the classical architecture of the home and the magnificent view out the large window to the treed backyard. Scale and proportion were key elements in the design that are showcased in the floor to ceiling wall tile in the shower, over-sized mirror, luxurious double vanity and large-format cement grey floor tiles. Upon entering, the space feels simultaneously peaceful yet powerful, serene yet bold, classic yet edgy.
All the finishes selected are hand-polished, richly plated and timeless. Everything about this space is elevated and luxurious. In its design we created a sensual experience, a sanctuary, a place to feel pampered. It is like a visit to a fine hotel- in classic style.

Sophia M. AmianoThis remodel began as a powder bathroom and hall bathroom project, giving the powder bath a beautiful shaker style wainscoting and completely remodeling the second-floor hall bath. The second-floor hall bathroom features a mosaic tile accent, subway tile used for the entire shower, brushed nickel finishes, and a beautiful dark grey stained vanity with a quartz countertop. Once the powder bath and hall bathroom was complete, the homeowner decided to immediately pursue the master bathroom, creating a stunning, relaxing space. The master bathroom received the same styled wainscotting as the powder bath, as well as a free-standing tub, oil-rubbed bronze finishes, and porcelain tile flooring.

Studio InSitu ArchitectsIn an ever-evolving homestead on the Connecticut River, this bath serves two guest bedrooms as well as the Master.
In renovating the original 1983 bathspace and its unusual 6ft by 24ft footprint, our design divides the room's functional components along its length. A deep soaking tub in a Sepele wood niche anchors the primary space. Opposing entries from Master and guest sides access a neutral center area with a sepele cabinet for linen and toiletries. Fluted glass in a black steel frame creates discretion while admitting daylight from a South window in the 6ft by 8ft river-side shower room.

H2 Design StudioA pathway to the master ensuite and WIC was restricted by too many doors, and an awkward layout of linen closets. A simple re-layout of the storage spaces allowed for more function within the master ensuite, and removal of the vestibule door created a more fluid access to the ensuite and WIC. Walking the line between traditional and transitional, the balance comes with the finish details and hardware. Square, sharp lines modernize an overall traditional palette, but special attention to craftsmanship expresses a nod to traditional design.
