View of Powder Room and Bathroom: The seamless ledge concealing the toilet cistern extends gracefully into the bathroom, serving a dual purpose as a conduit for the plumbing required for the freestanding bath. Our design decision incorporated a separate bath spout, bath mixer, and a hand shower with its dedicated mixer, prioritizing both functionality and aesthetics. This thoughtful choice facilitates ease in bathing young children and rinsing them, all while maintaining a cohesive and visually pleasing design. The sleek black tapware was masterfully integrated into the base frame and hinges of the otherwise frameless glass shower, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design.

It's hard to believe this was once a small, drab, 50's-era tract home. Our client, an artist, loved the location but wanted a modern, unique look with more space for her to work. We added over 2,000 square feet of living space including a studio with its own bathroom and a laundry/potting room. The cramped old-fashioned kitchen was opened up to the living area to create a high-ceiling great room. Outside, a new driveway, patio and walkway incorporate brightly colored surfaces as a contrast to the abundant greenery of the garden.

This early 90's contemporary home was in need of some major updates and when my clients purchased it they were ready to make it their own. The home features large open rooms, great natural light and stunning views of Lake Washington. These clients love bold vibrant colors and clean modern lines so the goal was to incorporate those in the design without it overwhelming the space. Balance was key. The end goal was for the home to feel open and airy yet warm and inviting. This was achieved by bringing in punches of color to an otherwise white or neutral palate. Texture and visual interest were achieved throughout the house through the use of wallpaper, fabrics, and a few one of a kind artworks.

This home is an oasis of calming color and sophisticated, transitional design. The kitchen has a dark wood floor with a farmhouse sink, white louvered cabinets, marble countertops, a white marble backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and an island. The great room and living room also have dark wood floors with white walls and comfortable furniture. The dining room and sunroom flaunt calming hues with a printed rug adding a dash of bright color. The master bedrooms and guest room showcase a green and yellow palette with luxe linen and furnishing, while the kid's room is a light green with comfy bunkbeds. The master bathroom has a yellow tile and stone tile limestone floor with white shaker cabinets, a one-piece toilet, beige walls, an undermount sink, and quartz countertops.
